At the second minute of the match, captain of Turkmen team made wonderful pass to forward Alexander Vakhovskiy who sent the puck to the goal of the contester. He doubled the score after 10 minutes and clear shots of Ishan Veleyev, Yakub Berdiyev and Ezizmuhammed Akmuhammedov took our team to the leaders of the first period (5:0). After the break, Malaysian team did not change the tactics and continued to play in defence from time to time leaving its half of the field. As a result, Turkmen hockey players YAkub Berdiyev, Maksat Atayev, Ishan veleyev and Dovlet Soyunov scored another four goals. In the third 20-minutes period, the fosters of Bayram Allayarov, according to the instructions from the coach, reduced the speed and played mainly in defence. As a result, our compatriots with 9:2 Score are on the top of the tournament table in their group, where besides the Malaysia, national teams of Chinese Macao, Islamic Republic of Iran and Indonesia are included. Before Asian Winter Games, Turkmen sportsmen had training camp in Raubichi Olympic Sports Complex in Minsk (Belarus).
