Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov familiarised himself with the state of affairs in the Stomatology Centre, construction of which is at its final stage. The new medical project, for equipment of which innovative technological solutions are used, including artificial intelligence, will considerably strengthen the potential of national public health services.

… in the morning, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the Stomatology Centre.

There, Minister of Health and Medical Industry M.Gayipov reported on the course of work carried out at the new building site according to commissions earlier given by the head of the state and recommendations of National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and appropriate requirements. The detailed information on the structure of the Centre, the materials used at its building, including finishing materials and the equipment established there was presented.

The construction of the medical establishment was given a start with the blessing of Hero-Arkadag. Today, the construction of the Centre is at its final stage.

The profile of the new project – dental services, and maxillofacial surgery. The activity in the Centre is planned to carry out in cooperation with leading world clinics.

As was marked, with support and assistance of the head of the state, the Stomatology Centre is equipped by modern medical technologies from Germany, Japan and the USA. At the same time, proper measures are implemented to provide its highly qualified specialists.

The Centre differs with its advanced material and technical basis and modern diagnostic possibilities. It will allow revealing and diagnosing dental diseases, pathologies and traumas of maxillofacial area for subsequent treatment. Its structure includes an administrative department, stationary and outpatient clinical units, economic-technical and automated laboratory complexes. The data of patients will be prepared in the digital format and will be transferred through the system of electronic document circulation. Their monitoring will be carried out by means of specialised programs.

The information on the units of the Centre equipped with modern technologies of leading manufacturers was also sounded. As was informed, the reception unit houses wards, including units for emergency help, operation, round-the-clock medical rooms. The Centre will also run a number of other units like radio diagnostics, endoscopy, clinical and laboratory, functional diagnostics units, operational-sterilising with several operation, anaesthesiology and resuscitation, physiotherapeutic, and chemist’s premises.

As was pointed, the complex of the profile equipment from leading manufacturers allows to process repeatedly the data by means of artificial intelligence, providing high reliability of results at difficult operative interventions and reconstructive surgical operations in the maxillofacial area.

Minister of Health and Medical Industry M.Gayipov expressed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and scientist-doctor Hero-Arkadag his sincere gratitude for the building of the Stomatology Centre equipped with modern technologies and advanced possibilities on the basis of digital system.

Speaking of the upcoming Day of workers of public health services and medical industry, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed him to prepare comprehensively for the opening of the Centre on the occasion of their professional holiday in the year, which marks the 35^th anniversary of independence of our fatherland.

Arkadagly Hero Serdar also specified the necessity of afforestation of the adjoining territory of the project and its internal space with a view of maintenance of appropriate ecological conditions.

At the same time, the head of the state underlined the significance of appropriate use of medical technologies established there by doctors to serve as a pledge of its long-term effective service. Specialists, who will directly use the equipment in their work, should possess full corresponding professional competencies.

In the given context, Arkadagly Hero Serdar noted the necessity of coordination of the activity with the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev with a view of maintenance of the Centre with highly skilled personnel.

Having underlined that digital possibilities of the equipment established in the new medical institution, including artificial intelligence, should be applied exclusively in interests of citizens, the head of the state instructed him to take measures on involvement of advantages of equipment of the Centre for operative diagnostics of diseases.

The Stomatology Centre is designed to admit several patients at a time. Therefore, one should ensure their operative reception. At the same time, doctors of the Centre should give citizens high-quality consultations, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked.

Then, Arkadagly Hero Serdar examined units of the Centre. The head of the state was acquainted with possibilities and equipment of the diagnostics unit. The equipment established there allows quickly and accurately diagnosis.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to provide appropriate use of technical devices taking into account their specificity.

Further, the head of the state headed to the therapeutic unit. Working processes there are carried out by means of the computer system. In particular, it allows to keep in contact with other units in the online mode during operations and immediately to transfer the data of the patient.

By means of other devices, the temperature indoors is automatically regulated.

Besides it, the equipment of the unit provides availability of necessary data on the patient.

Digital stomatology microscopes and systems are widely used in treatment of destruction of crown and roots and in prevention of complications. Application of modern profile installations will allow achieving high efficiency of treatment.

The advanced equipment of the new medical institution, including innovative technologies in the field of digital medicine and artificial intelligence, will allow operatively carry out variety of procedures of high quality. Among them - safe anaesthesia of the location of dental intervention, extraction and filling of teeth, early diagnostics and timely treatment of diseases of the oral cavity and palate, prosthetics and implantation of teeth, orthodontic correction of tooth alignment, defects of maxillofacial area, reconstructive surgery, production of prosthesis with individual selection of colour and their installation.

The head of the state noted the importance of appropriate involvement of technological possibilities of the unit on the basis of artificial intelligence, in particular, monitors, which will allow to exchange the data with other medical institutions and to keep in contact with foreign partners.

Getting acquainted with conditions in the stationary unit, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined the importance of maintenance of due comfort of patients during the preoperative and postoperative periods. Thereupon, the head of the state gave a number of corresponding instructions.

Then, Arkadagly Hero Serdar visited the implantology unit. The advantage of modern digital technologies and systems of AI-based 3D scanning established in its rooms consists in the operative analysis of great volumes of the data, allowing measuring precisely arrangement, corners and distances between implants. Similar equipment will provide high quality of services rendered to citizens. 3D-scanning devices are intended for getting high precision and detailed images by means of digital system.

The laboratory of tooth technicians is designed for 45 specialists and equipped by the digital control, modern program complexes of designing and manufacture with computer support (CAD/CAM), and the equipment for the automatic press and cleaning of 3D-models.

Integrated into AI-system complexes gives the chance to eliminate unforeseen errors and to provide accuracy, to carry out designing in the digital format and the automated mode. Laboratory equipment allows to apply modern high quality materials, and to make in short terms the complex prostheses fixed on implants.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to use effectively possibilities of the advanced equipment established in the unit.

On completion of acquaintance with the Stomatology Centre, the head of the state emphasised again the maintenance of high level of preparation for its opening ceremony timed to Day of workers of public health services and medical industry. The commissioning of the given project in the year of the 35^th anniversary of sacred independence of our land becomes will make a big contribution in further strengthening of the potential of the national system of public health services, Arkadagly Hero Serdar said.
