Today, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the opening of the universal international exhibition «Cooperation and development».

Benevolent relations between people, principles of friendship, brotherhood and trust directly serve formation of the atmosphere of mutually beneficial partnership that underlies global development. For this reason in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state independent neutral Turkmenistan establishes multilateral relations with all interested countries of the world and make its worthy contribution to sustainable development of the planet.

With a view of maintenance of high paces of growth of national economy, pursuance of the active investment policy and further improvement of social conditions of our people in our fatherland, large-scale government programs, large-scale projects of national and regional significance are implemented. One of the priority goals designated in the Program «Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state: National program of social and economic development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052», is wide attraction of foreign investments. In that connection, according to the international standards, the legal framework is improved, the favourable investment climate, which ensures privileges and guarantees for foreign investors, was created. Cooperation with authoritative international organisations and financial institutions consistently extends.

The universal international exhibition «Cooperation and development», which is held for the first time in our country is also aimed at adjustment of mutually beneficial cooperation with interested foreign partners, familiarization with the potential of local private commodity producers.

In the large-scale exposition about 100 large enterprises of the country and foreign states, which display their colourful stands, take part.

By tradition, the opening ceremony of the universal exhibition was accompanied by song and music programs of creative groups.

Members of the Government, heads of the Mejlis, ministries and sectoral departments , heads and employees of diplomatic missions and the international organisations accredited in the country, public organisations, as well as the mass media took part in the festive event.

The gathered with great enthusiasm heard the welcoming message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent to participants of the universal international exhibition «Cooperation and development». As is underlined in the message of the head of the state, international cooperation has a huge significance in modernisation of economy of our sovereign state according to world standards, introduction of new technologies, innovations and latest achievements of science. For this reason, Turkmenistan widely holds international exhibitions, scientific conferences and business meetings. It promotes adjustment of long-term relations with foreign countries in various areas.

As is expected, the present international exhibition will also promote the strengthening of mutually beneficial relations between the parties interested in long-term cooperation and joint activity with new partners.

One should point out that a great number of companies and enterprises engaged in construction sector takes part in the universal exposition. It clearly displays a great interest of the business community of our country and foreign states in participation in realisation of programs and projects, which are implemented within the framework of grandiose transformations, made all over Turkmenistan.

Large industrial enterprises put in operation and equipped with high-efficiency equipment from leading world companies, numerous social, cultural and industrial projects also clearly attest to the success of reforms carried out in our fatherland. It in turn cements the position of our independent country among developed states of the world.

Achievements in the sphere of city planning are inseparably linked with the name and grandiose activity of the honoured architect of Turkmenistan Hero Arkadag. The creative talent of the National Leader of the Turkmen people finds its embodiment in large-scale building projects, which serve as an evident illustration of socially oriented state policy aimed at increase of standards of living of population and strengthening of the economic power of our fatherland.

The best example for it is the city of Arkadag, which has become the first "smart" city in the Central Asian region. Possessing a special legal status of a city of state significance at legislative level, the smart city is an outstanding achievement of national and world town planning. This city, being the sample of harmonious combination of advanced architectural and construction solutions and digital technologies, has turned into a bright symbol of creative potential of the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.

Stands and pavilions of numerous companies from the Republic of Turkiye, among which are the enterprises that manufacture electric equipment, lighting devices, cable production, aluminium, sanitary ware, rubber and other building materials, evoked a great interest of visitors of the exhibition. A number of companies familiarize with their possibilities in manufacture of lifts for many-storeyed buildings, water treating, installation of systems of drop irrigation as well as development of iron and steel equipment.

Tens of companies from the People’s Republic of China, interested in export of electric equipment and building materials, industrial and building designs also displayed their production and services. So, the enterprises, which are engaged in manufacture of wood and furniture, production of various means of decor and safety for buildings and offer the latest solutions for "smart" city environment, are presented there. At the exhibition, one can closely familiarise with models of modern cars of the Chinese manufacture and powerful machinery intended for city municipal services.

Companies from a number of other foreign countries like Azerbaijan, Austria, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Italy, Russia, Uzbekistan and others displayed their possibilities in the field of manufacture of equipment for systems of ventilation, electric motors, panels and other industrial output, building of asphalt making factories, electrical supply of enterprises and cities as well as in the sphere of automobile services.

Numerous visitors of the universal international exhibition with particular interest attended stands of the local private businessmen who successfully work in the construction industry.

As known, the branch of manufacture of building materials uses a wide support from the state and is considered one of the key sectors in strengthening the economic potential of regions of the country and solution of issues of employment of local population. At present, profile enterprises make various kinds import replacing goods corresponding to the international quality standards, including cement, wall panels, reinforced blocks, claydite modular ferro-concrete products, baked brick, facing plates and many other things and provide the constantly extending internal building market with these goods.

In recent years, in all corners of the country numerous architectural objects provided with the advanced equipment, modern office buildings, comfortable apartment houses and large manufacturing enterprises are erected and put in operation. According to shown requirements in their construction high quality building materials answering to local environmental conditions and ecological standards are used.

According to set goals on increase of output of import replacing and export-focused production the special attention is given to issues of maintenance of the home market with building materials made on the basis of local raw materials. With a view of achievement of the high quality and competitiveness of production manufactured in Turkmenistan the material and technical basis of the branch is regularly strengthened and modern enterprises are established.

At present, the potential of the construction and industrial complex is directed to realisation of the adopted government programs in the field of housing construction, transformations of regions, industrialisation, development of industrial and transport infrastructure. At that, most of projects are implemented by private enterprises - members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Thus, representatives of business circles of the country, taking an active part in implementation of complex programs, bring their worthy contribution to the strengthening of the economic power of our fatherland.

Turkmen businesspersons, who make an effective use of ample opportunities created by the state, steadily increase the export of the high-quality, competitive production made at the enterprises, equipped with modern technologies and promote development of international trade and economic cooperation. So, in the present universal exhibition, local enterprises, which manufacture electronic equipment, furniture, products from plastic and polypropylene, carpet production and footwear, are widely presented. One should also mark that the companies, which offer services in the sphere of transport and logistics, organisation of various actions as well as make various lubricant oils and liquids of motor transport also take part in the international exposition.

Presentations of the new goods made by the state and private structures of our country also have a special significance within the international exhibition. The experience of foreign businessmen in corresponding fields also evoke a particular interest. It once again visually shows that the universal exhibition gives ample opportunities not only for adjustment of mutually beneficial cooperation, but also for exchange of experience, increases of knowledge in the sphere of manufacture and services, and discussion of joint projects and advancement of new business initiatives.

There is no doubt that the international exhibition «Cooperation and development» held for the first time, has already become an important event of the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged racers» and will serve popularisation of economic potential of our country on the world scene and the further strengthening of positions of the Turkmen capital as one of the significant centres of the international business space.
