In order to significantly increase the country's export potential in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree authorizing the State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa" to conclude a contract with the companies "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd." (Japan) and "Gap İnşaat Yatırım ve Dış Ticaret Anonim Şirketi" (Republic of Turkiye) for the design and construction, including landscaping of adjacent areas, of a complex for the production of 1,155,000 tons of urea per year in the Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat.

The document mandates the start of construction work in July 2026 and the handover of the fully operational complex by February 2030.
