Today, a forum titled "Halkara Parahatçylyk we ynanyşmak ýyly: agzybirligiň, parahatçylygyň, ynsanperwerligiň, dost-doganlyk gatnaşyklarynyň dünýä ýüzüne dabaralanmasy" was held at the Mekan Palace in the capital. The event was dedicated to the outcomes of the successful International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children," which took place on March 29 in the city of Arkadag. This conference marked the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. The event was organized jointly by the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis of the country, and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education, and Culture.

Before the conference began, performances by masters of the arts and an exhibition were held in the foyer of the palace. These activities served as further evidence of international recognition of the noble activities conducted in our independent homeland, confidently moving forward on the basis of the principles of neutrality under the wise leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, continuing the initiatives of Hero-Arkadag aimed at ensuring a healthy and happy life for children, including those supported by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.

On the stage of the large conference hall of the palace, a literary-musical composition titled "Çagalaryň saglygy – Watan baýlygy" was performed by artists from the Main Academic Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi the Great. This performance reflected the high goals of independent neutral Turkmenistan – a country of happy childhood, where cherished dreams come true, and care for children is provided at the state level.

The conference then began its work. 

During the speeches, participants emphasized the importance of the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children," which was successfully held in the city of Arkadag to mark the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation under the chairmanship of Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities.

It was noted that the international forum demonstrated the priority of protecting the health of the younger generation, mother and child in the state policy conducted under the wise leadership of President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, laid down by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag.

Leaders and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in our country also spoke at the event. They highlighted the significance of the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children," which took place in the city of Arkadag to mark the fourth anniversary of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation under the chairmanship of Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Foundation. They sincerely congratulated everyone on its successful conduct during the International Year of Peace and Trust. It was noted that during the conference, Turkmenistan's commitment to the principles and goals of the UN, the Sustainable Development Agenda until 2030, as well as universal human values, principles of peace, goodwill, justice, and humanism, was reaffirmed.

Diplomats emphasized that the countries they represent are interested in cooperating with Turkmenistan in this area, based on common goals and priorities. They expressed readiness to partner with our country in addressing these important tasks.

It was noted in the speeches that the activity of the Charitable Foundation, established at the initiative of Hero-Arkadag, focuses on caring for children who need special love, attention, and help, as well as promoting the spiritual and moral development and social integration of the young generation.

As is known, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov makes tireless efforts to ensure a prosperous life for every family, particularly for mothers – the unshakeable pillars of our sacred home – and children – our bright future. Such care for the health and upbringing of children is a high example of humanism.

During the conference, renowned artists enhanced the festive atmosphere with their performing skills, giving the event its unique color. In their performances, they celebrated the noble achievements of the International Year of Peace and Trust, our independent homeland confidently moving forward on the path of neutrality, as well as the successes achieved by our united and cohesive people under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
