Today, the VII Conference of Judges of Turkmenistan was held at the «Adalat» Palace, which was attended by representatives of the Supreme Court, Arbitration Court, judges of velayat, city and etrap courts. The agenda included priority areas of activity of the country's judicial bodies.

As was emphasised in the speeches, as a result of the policy pursued in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, today Turkmenistan has achieved great success in all areas. The key aspect of the legal reform, the beginning of which was laid by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag, is the organisation of the work of the courts in accordance with the realities of the time. At the same time, great importance is attached to the study of best practices, the introduction of digital technologies in the activities of this law enforcement agency.

One of the central topics was the implementation of the «Program for the Development of the Judicial System of Turkmenistan for 2022-2028». The reports made placed special emphasis on the measures taken to successfully solve the urgent tasks envisaged in the document.

The issues considered included the modernisation of the domestic judicial system and legal proceedings. In this regard, the reports highlighted the organisation of the activities of this body in accordance with international practice through the use of the capabilities of the digital system.

Much attention at the conference was paid to the ongoing work to improve the legislation on the court, taking into account the requirements of the modern epoch.

As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov notes in his speeches, one of the most important tasks is the training of highly qualified specialists with innovative thinking, broad outlook and the necessary professional skills. Based on this, strengthening the human resources potential has been identified as one of the main areas of reforming the country's judicial system, since the effectiveness of the performance of responsible powers of judges largely depends on the level of qualification of employees. In this regard, the agenda included issues of increasing the professionalism of employees, introducing modern methods into this process and organising special courses.

An exchange of views on the topics included in the Work Plan for 2025 also took place, and the Plan of events planned for the courts to hold on the occasion of the announcement of 2025 as the «International Year of Peace and Trust» was considered.

Following the conference, the relevant decisions were made.
