Today, the IV congress of the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan was held in the capital and it discussed the priority issues of the given political organisation in the context of realisation of large-scale state social and economic programs in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.

With this view, numerous delegates of the congress gathered in Ashgabat from all regions of the country, the city of Arkadag - representatives of local agrarian sector. Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, who supervises agriculture, heads of public organisations, ministries and branch departments, mass media, creative figures also took part in the forum.

Before the start of the congress, the gathered attended the exhibition of achievements of agriculture of the country.

Within the forum’s agenda the report of the Chairman of the Main Board of the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan was heard, organizational issues were considered.

The Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan brings a big contribution to development of the agricultural branch, which is one of the basic segments of national economy, and to encouragement of farmers into new labour achievements. Started at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and large-scale transformations successfully continued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the agrarian sector yield weighty results.

As was underlined, increase in the volumes of output of various agricultural production, maintenance of food abundance in the country - the major priority of the policy pursued by Arkadagly Hero Serdar aimed at strengthening of the economic power of Turkmenistan, increase of well-being of its people.

A special importance of state support, which is expressed in the large investments aimed at technical re-equipment and modernisation of all industrial infrastructure of agriculture, development of the chemical industry providing peasants with mineral fertilizers, was marked. For the needs of the agrarian sector modern tractors, combines, seeders and other equipment are bought.

During the current year, the President of Turkmenistan signed Resolutions according to which in the country, since the harvest of 2024, the state procurement prices of wheat, cotton and rice rose. These measures becoming effective stimulus for further increase in volumes of output of agricultural production, considerably will affect well-being of farmers. 

The head of Turkmenistan pays much attention to issues of rational use of land and water resources. Due work is carried out to improve irrigation and land use, selection and seed-growing perfection in this connection.

As was marked, important step on the way of further development of the food segment of national economy, satisfaction of demand of population for foodstuff in wide assortment became adoption of Government programs for manufacture of import replacing and increase of volumes of export production. In the given context it was underlined that the United Nations Organization recognised the successes reached in this area, in particular, our country was awarded a special award of the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations for achievements in the field of maintenance of food security.

The program of development of the agricultural complex of Turkmenistan provides introduction of achievements of science and digital technologies, advanced world experience. Thereupon, an emphasis was made on active participation of members of the Agrarian party in this large scale and multiplane work and their public and political activity aspiring to make a maximum contribution to positive changes, which are carried out in regions of the country.

At the congress the organizational issue was considered - A.Akmammedov, who earlier worked as deputy chairman of the Main Board of the given Party was elected chairman of the Main Board of the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan. 

On completion of the forum, its participants adopted the Message to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in which they expressed gratitude for the large scale transformations aimed at further development of the state and society, having assured that they will do their utmost to bring out our fatherland to new heights of progress and further modernisation of agriculture.
