The past week marked by participation of the President of Turkmenistan in the meeting of the Council of heads of CIS states and in the representative international forum which was held in Ashgabat «Interrelation of times and civilisations - a basis of peace and development» as well as celebrations on the occasion of Day of workers of public health services and medical industry, other important events, provided new evidence of successful realisation of the internal and foreign policy, consistently and steadily pursued by the head of Turkmenistan in the year «The Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi».

On October 7-8, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the Russian Federation where he took part in the meeting of the Council of heads of CIS states.

Speaking at the Summit, the head of Turkmenistan stated that this year for the CIS passes under the token of realisation of basic priorities and tasks. It includes strengthening of security and stability, deepening of economic partnership, and expansion of humanitarian relations.

The President of the country underlined that on the international stage an important tasks is an assistance to the United Nations, strengthening of its role and support by member states.

The head of the state also noted that the next year Turkmenistan intends to participate actively in actions of the International Year of Peace and Trust according to the Resolution of the General Assembly adopted at the initiative of our country and invited partners in the CIS to cooperation.

Besides it, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that amidst difficult processes observed during the present period in the world, it is the extremely important to maintain what has that has a special importance for peoples of the CIS - traditions of good neighbourhood, mutual understanding, respect on the basis of historical bonds and basic values.

By the results of the Summit, a number of documents were signed. Among them - the Decision on presidency of the Republic of Tajikistan in the CIS in 2025 and co-chairmanship will be carried out by the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan.

On October 10, in Ashgabat negotiations between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokaev who arrived in our country with an official visit took place.

A wide spectrum of issues of bilateral cooperation in the spheres of energy, transport, logistics, agriculture, chemical industry, mechanical engineering, textile manufacture and in a number of other sectors was discussed.

The special attention was given to realisation of joint projects such as a gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China.

One of the key topics of the meeting - strengthening of cultural-humanitarian contacts.

By the results of negotiations, a solid package of bilateral documents aimed at further expansion of spheres of interaction was signed as well as the Declaration on strengthening of friendship and deepening of multiplane strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted.

It is necessary to point out that the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokaev to Ashgabat started with the meeting with National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the international airport of the capital.

The exchange of opinions on key issues of interstate cooperation successfully developing in various formats, including within the authoritative international and regional organisations took place.

On completion of the ceremony of the official meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the President of Kazakhstan took part in celebrations on the occasion of the opening of the monument to the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abay Kunanbayev, erected in the capital square «Laçyn».

Days of culture of Kazakhstan were timed to the visit of the head of the friendly state to Turkmenistan.

On October 11, in the capital under the chairmanship of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the international forum «Interrelation of times and civilisations - a basis of peace and development» took place.

The forum held in frameworks of the big program of celebration of the 300^th birthday anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi which included a number of the solemn events organised both in our country and abroad.

Its work was preceded with the flower laying ceremony at the monument of Magtymguly erected in the picturesque foothills of the Kopet Dagh with participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokaev, President of the Kirghiz Republic Sadyr Japarov, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the international forum.

Among visitors, there were also the Chairman of Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkiye, heads of international organisations, and members of governments of foreign states, famous scientists, art workers and diplomats.

Speaking at the forum, the head of the state underlined the importance of spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, having noted that ideas of Magtymguly were forever fixed in the treasury of universal civilisation.

Within the forum, issues of popularisation of works of the poet as well as strengthening of cultural and humanitarian links between peoples were discussed.

By the Decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, foreign leaders present at the forum were awarded the anniversary medal of Turkmenistan «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» for their contribution to development of bilateral friendship, study and popularisation of the literary legacy of Magtymguly.

The same award was given to President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed to the Turkish leader his congratulations in the telephone conversation. Interlocutors noted long-term, strategic character of interstate relations, expansion of which is promoted by language, cultural and spiritual commonalities of our people.

During the bilateral meetings of the President of Turkmenistan held that very day with Presidents of Armenia, Iran and Pakistan, an exchange of opinions concerning partnership in political-diplomatic, trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian areas as well as of international and regional issues took place.

President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan gave as gift to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov a collection of poems of Magtymguly, translated into the Armenian language. The book presentation was held next day in the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

On October 12, negotiations between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, at which a wide spectrum of issues of mutual relations as well as regional and international agenda were discussed, took place.

By the results of negotiations, a package of documents aimed at all-around development of multidimensional interstate dialogue taking into account national interests and long-term prospects of cooperation was signed.

That very day, the Turkmen-Mongolian business forum, called to promote development of business ties and mutual relations in spheres of trade and economy, public health services, transport and logistics, agriculture and processing industry took place.

The concert of actors of Turkmenistan and Mongolia held at the National music-drama theatre named after Magtymguly highlighted prospects for mutual enrichment of cultures of both people and expansion of cooperation in this area.

On October 7, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag where he familiarised with projects of the buildings planned within the forthcoming stage of construction of the city, heard the information on their decorative features, and held a working meeting.

Besides it, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag met Ahmet Chalyk, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Çalik Holding Group of Companies and discussed priority areas of bilateral cooperation.

The opening of objects of the profile system became a kind tradition in our country within the celebration of Day of workers of public health services and medical industry.

This year within the opening of architectural projects - international rehabilitation centre and international scientific-clinical centre of physiology - the largest medical institutions not only in the country, but also in the entire Central Asian region were commissioning into operation with participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

A number of international certificates confirmed a high level of their conformity to the quality and equipment with advanced medical technologies of world standards.

At the same time, a solemn opening of the enterprise for release of glycyrrhizic acid in the city of Turkmenabat and the office building of the Sanitary and epidemiology service of Mary velayat in Mary city took place.

On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, vehicles were given to all new objects of the system of public health services.

The international exhibition «Public health services, education and sports in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state» and the thematic scientific conference in its frameworks were timed to the professional holiday of workers of public health services and medical industry.

The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry hosted the presentation of the XVI volume of fundamental work of the academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan».

National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Hero-Arkadag took part in the opening ceremony of the monument «Kalbyň şypasy» erected in one of the most beautiful corners of the capital as well as the reconstructed avenue from Archabil Avenue to the International cardiology centre (earlier street 1970).

The updated highway was named after famous German heart surgeon, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Hans Meissner, who was awarded among other German colleagues the medal «Arkadag» for his big contribution to development of Turkmen-German relations in the sphere of public health services.

According to Decrees and on the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev and Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly solemn awarding ceremonies of medical workers who have distinguished in their work and foreign citizens who have brought a considerable contribution to development of the sphere of public health services, humanitarian and charities, volunteer movements took place.

On October 10, Arkadag city hosted the next sixth Viennese Ball and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov became its guest of honour. In the welcoming speech Hero-Arkadag underlined that the Viennese Ball - one of the important events in strengthening of friendship between the people of Turkmenistan and the Austrian Republic.

On October 11, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty met the head of the Turkmen-Austrian society Neda Berger. Having noted her big contribution to development of friendship between two countries, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined importance of the further strengthening of bilateral relations in the field of culture.

The international academy of horse breeding named after Aba Annayev in the city of Arkadag hosted the past week an awarding ceremony of the Certificate on the inclusion of the nomination "Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Art and Horse Decoration Traditions" in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity..

It became a visual evidence of the fact that the national values formed by the Turkmen people throughout centuries, find a recognition in the world and the glory of "heavenly" horses increases.

The past week was so rich with significant events. Dreams of Magtymguly Fragi were realised: peace and consent prevail in the Turkmen land, rich cultural heritage and high ages old spiritual and moral ideals of our people are carefully preserved. Basic principles of peace, brotherhood and humanism, which make up an essence of the policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov proclaimed as universal values serve as a bridge for mutual enrichment of cultures, establishment of friendship between the people, expansions of multiplane cooperation.
