On the 12th of October, a joint concert of artists from Turkmenistan and Mongolia was held at the National Music and Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly. The event was organized as part of the state visit of President Uhnaagiyna Hurelsuha to our country.
It should be noted that the policy in the field of international humanitarian cooperation, aimed at mutual enrichment of cultures and the integration of Turkmenistan into the world cultural space, also involves providing partners with the opportunity to get acquainted with their national culture in our country. This is confirmed by the Days of Culture of Foreign Countries held in Turkmenistan, including the Republic of Kazakhstan, which took place the other day.
The current friendship concert in Turkmenistan is a vivid example of taking bilateral relations to a new level, opening the way for spiritual rapprochement between the peoples of both countries. A delegation of cultural figures and artists arrived in our country to hold a creative event designed to become a landmark step in the formation and further development of the Turkmen-Mongolian dialogue.
Representatives of the leadership, specialized institutions, mass media, creative workers of our country, faculty and students of universities took part in the opening ceremony of the cultural event.
As the speakers emphasised, holding a joint concert in Ashgabat will serve to intensify bilateral relations, develop professional contacts between representatives of the creative intelligentsia, and increase the interest of both peoples in each other's history and spiritual heritage.
The participants of the celebration, expressing gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the ongoing policy of peace and mutually beneficial partnership, expanding the framework of interstate cultural relations, noted that this event will become one of the important pages in the new history of Turkmen-Mongolian cooperation.
The concert program of masters of arts of Turkmenistan and Mongolia included songs, dance and folklore numbers.
A high emotional upsurge accompanied the current performance, once again confirming that art has no boundaries. Such meetings have a positive impact on relations between peoples, giving an additional impetus to the development of mutual interest in national heritage and the achievements of contemporary art.
Thus, the current creative event turned into a great celebration of music and friendship, highlighting new prospects for the mutual enrichment of the cultures of both peoples and the expansion of cooperation in this area.
