Today, the capital hosted a solemn ceremony of presenting high state awards and badges of honourary titles to the best workers in various sectors of the national economy, leading workers, employees of ministries and departments, their structural organizations, creative figures, labour veterans who have made a great personal contribution to the socio-economic development of sovereign Turkmenistan, increasing its international authority. 

In commemoration of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland, in accordance with the Decrees of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, for special services to the state and people, the preservation and enrichment of national traditions and customs, many years of conscientious and impeccable work, high professional skills, a number of citizens of the country were awarded the order «Garaşsyz Türkmenistana bolan beýik söýgüsi üçin», medals «Gaýrat» and «Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin», and were also awarded the honourary titles: «Türkmenistanyň halk artisti», «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan senagat işgäri», «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan gurluşykçysy», «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan ulag işgäri», «Türkmenistanyň ylymda we tehnikada at gazanan işgäri», «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan medeniýet işgäri», «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan artisti», «Türkmenistanyň halk bagşysy», «Türkmenistanyň sungatda at gazanan işgäri», «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan žurnalisti», «Türkmenistanyň durmuş hyzmaty çygrynyň at gazanan işgäri».

The contribution of women awarded the «Zenan kalby» order and representatives of the older generation who were awarded the honourary title «Hormatly il ýaşulusy» of Turkmenistan was especially noted for their fruitful social activities that contribute to strengthening the unity and cohesion of the people, for educating and educating young people in the spirit of respect for national values, historical heritage, patriotism, hard work, courage and heroism.

Representatives of the Mejlis and members of the Government took part in the celebrations on behalf of the head of state, congratulating those gathered on the upcoming Independence Day, wishing them happiness, well-being, new achievements and creative successes in the name of the prosperity of their beloved Fatherland.

As noted, thanks to the inspired and creative work of the Turkmen people, our Motherland is blossoming day by day. Under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, grandiose socio-economic programs and large projects in the field of industrialization, diversification and building up industrial potential are being successfully implemented. Modern enterprises for the production of import-substituting products, transport and communications infrastructure facilities are being put into operation in the capital and velayats.

Today, the capital also hosted a solemn award ceremony for creative workers awarded honourary titles of Turkmenistan and winners of the contest of the President of Turkmenistan «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» among literary, cultural and artistic figures, young performers and gifted children.

The honouring of cultural figures awarded at the state level is held annually on the eve of the main holiday of the country - Independence Day, which emphasises the importance of the contribution of creative workers to the progressive progress of our sovereign neutral state and gives the celebration a special emotional mood, testifies to the preservation and increase of inexhaustible spiritual wealth, support and stimulation of the creative intelligentsia.

The audience listened with great enthusiasm to the Address of the President of Turkmenistan addressed to creative workers on the occasion of conferring state awards on them and awarding a prestigious prize to the winners of the «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» contest.

Then the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on conferring state awards and the Resolution on awarding the winners of the nationwide competition «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» were read out.

The heads of creative groups, poets and prose writers, singers and musicians, masters of fine arts, and media representatives expressed their deep gratitude to the head of state for creating all the conditions for full-fledged creative activity and professional growth.

The colourful musical event that followed with the participation of famous and young performers - winners of various national creative competitions, the best dance and folklore-ethnographic ensembles - became a kind of anthem to the modern epoch, the peacekeeping initiatives of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which opened new horizons for the development of national culture. 

The rich program of the concert reflected the richness and originality of modern Turkmen art, a wide range of its genres and creative schools.
