Today, in accordance with the program of the Week of Culture, events were held that revealed the significance of the large-scale work carried out in Turkmenistan to preserve and study historical and architectural monuments, as well as introducing achievements in the field of national culture, including in circus arts.
Early in the morning, the forum delegates - museum specialists, creative workers and masters of art - visited the Paryzdepe monument. A field scientific and practical seminar «The Importance of Including Research Results on Historical and Cultural Monuments in Scientific Circulation in 2023» was organized here.
Turkmenistan is a country rich in historical and cultural landmarks, testifying to the high level of construction in ancient times, the development of crafts that preceded the flourishing of folk arts and crafts, architecture, the masterpieces of which are protected by the state.
It should be noted that the concern for the preservation of historical and cultural monuments, the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people, defined by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov among the most important tasks of the state and society, today, in the era of innovation and profound transformations, is successfully continued under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The original heritage of our people is countless spiritual treasures, carefully passed on from generation to generation. The Turkmen spiritual tradition actively participates in the world cultural process.
The participants of the seminar were informed about the scientific and survey work carried out by specialists in the restoration, study and popularization of historical and cultural monuments that are part of the universal heritage.
In addition, a ceremony was held to present the state register of objects of the national historical and cultural heritage of the country, prepared for publication by the National Administration of Turkmenistan for the Protection, Study and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments.
As part of the events of the Culture Week in Ashgabat, the grand opening of the cultural center «Dokmaçylar» of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan took place. The commissioning of a new modern facility, organically combining the original national architectural traditions and trends in global urban development, is clear evidence of the rapid and dynamic development of national culture and art in Turkmenistan.
In the afternoon, a briefing for journalists of «Magtymguly umumadamzat şahyry» was held at the Markaw Hotel, during which the importance of the current meeting was emphasized in the context of further studying the priceless creative heritage of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher.
As noted, the use of a modern approach to popularizing the spiritual heritage of the people and its history is a key link in preserving intangible national values. The introduction of techniques and methods of multimedia journalism and digital technologies into work contributes to the popularization of the unique traditions of Turkmen oral folklore and dance art.
As was emphasized, the poems of Magtymguly, permeated with humanistic ideas, found new life and a special power of sound in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.
Today, the circus has taken its place in the rapidly developing entertainment industry in Turkmenistan. It is loved not only by children, but also by adults. This is the most family-friendly form of leisure, since it unites all generations on one emotional wave.
One of the highlights of the Culture Week program was the premiere of the theatrical and circus performance «Görogly» in the State Equestrian Circus named after Görogly in the city of Arkadag.
It should be noted that the millennial history of the Turkmen is inextricably linked with the Akhal-Teke horses. Our people, having invested all their strength, talent and soul, created such an unsurpassed creation in alliance with nature. And today the legendary «heavenly» horses are the decoration of national celebrations.
In this way, the next day of the Culture Week demonstrated the versatility of national culture, determined the paths for further work to enrich and reveal the enormous potential of the rich heritage created by the Turkmen people in order to preserve it, study it comprehensively and pass it on to future generations.
