Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Dashoguz velayat, where he took part in the celebrations marking the commissioning of the new high-voltage power transmission line «Balkan – Dashoguz» and two power substations with a voltage of 500 kV each, built on this route as part of the project to create a single energy ring of the country.
A closed energy ring should ensure the reliability of the domestic energy network due to mutual redundancy between the energy systems of the velayats and Ashgabat, thanks to which power engineers will be able to repair and modernize power units, electrical substations, and power lines without harm to consumers.
It is noteworthy that all work on laying the «Balkan – Dashoguz» power transmission line with a total length of 572 km was carried out by domestic energy builders who have accumulated extensive experience over the years of state independence.
The commissioning of new important facilities in the electric power industry - the «Balkan – Dashoguz» power transmission line-500 and two electrical substations - marked the successful completion of a grandiose project to create a single energy ring, which became another man-made symbol of the economic power and viability of independent neutral Turkmenistan.
