Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahalliyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of the velayats, to consider the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the country.

The first floor was given to Ahal velayat khyakim, R.Hojagulyev, who reported on the pace of agricultural activities in the region.

As noted, at present, in order to fulfill the instructions given by the head of state to increase the volume of “white gold” production, inter-row cultivation, thinning and weeding are being carried out in the fields. At the same time, agricultural machinery and units are effectively used.

The velayat also provides appropriate care for wheat fields. The final stage is the preparation of receiving points, elevators, combines and other equipment for the grain harvest. Along with this, farmers are preparing to harvest, transport and store seed wheat.

At the same time, the collection and delivery of cocoons to the state continues.

In addition, it was reported on preparations in the velayat for the “Last Bell” ceremony, as well as on the progress of construction within the framework of the National Rural Program of social and industrial facilities, the commissioning of which is planned for this year.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to prepare at a high level for the grain harvest season, as well as ensure care of cotton fields in accordance with agro-technical requirements, giving specific instructions to the khyakim.

The head of state also ordered to keep under review the quality and timing of construction work in the velayat at facilities for various purposes, which are planned to be put into operation this year in accordance with the socio-economic development programs of the Fatherland.

Then the khyakim of Balkan velayat, H.Ashyrmyradov, reported on the state of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the western region of the country.

It was noted that these days, in areas sown with cotton, inter-row cultivation, thinning, weeding and feeding with mineral fertilizers are carried out. Measures are being taken to ensure the efficient use of agricultural machinery and equipment.

Appropriate work continues in the wheat fields. Currently, organized preparations are being carried out for a high-level grain harvesting campaign, as well as for the collection and proper storage of seed grain.

Along with this, silkworm tenants take care of silkworm caterpillars.

Information was also given about preparations for events marking the end of the school year and the “Last Bell” ceremony. In addition, it was reported on the progress of the construction of social and industrial facilities being built within the framework of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan to transform the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period until 2028, the commissioning of which is scheduled for this year.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the grain harvest is approaching, emphasizing the importance of a responsible approach to the upcoming campaign, as well as ensuring proper care of the cotton plant, addressing the khyakim with a number of specific instructions in this regard.

At the same time, the head of state assigned to keep under control compliance with the deadlines and quality of work on objects of various purposes being built within the framework of the National Rural Program, the opening of which is scheduled for this year.

The meeting continued with a report from the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat S.Soltanmyradov, who reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work.

It was reported that inter-row cultivation, thinning and weeding are currently carried out in cotton fields in accordance with agricultural technology standards. Everything necessary is being done to use the agricultural machinery and equipment available to farmers to their full potential.

At the same time, wheat care and vegetation watering continue. To harvest the crop without loss, combine harvesters, vehicles and grain reception points have been prepared. Adequate arrangements have also been made for the storage of seed wheat.

Silkworm tenants in the region are working to care for silkworms and prepare cocoons.

Continuing the report, it was informed on preparations in the velayat for the celebrations on the occasion of the “Last Bell” ceremony, as well as on the progress of construction work on social and industrial facilities being built within the framework of the Country’s Socio-Economic Development Program in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program and scheduled for commissioning this year.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov identified among the priorities the organized grain harvesting, as well as strict adherence to agricultural technology standards when caring for cotton fields. In this context, the khyakim was given relevant instructions.

Along with this, the head of state ordered to ensure high quality and timely implementation of the work planned in the velayat within the framework of the Country’s Socio-Economic Development Program in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program.

Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As noted, vegetative irrigation, inter-row cultivation, thinning and weeding are carried out on the cotton fields of the region. In this regard, the necessary measures are being taken to ensure the effective use of equipment and units.

The velayat is also preparing for the wheat harvest. Combine harvesters and vehicles are being prepared to harvest and deliver the grain harvest to the Homeland.

For the upcoming season, specialized receiving points for storing seed wheat in the region are also fully prepared in accordance with established requirements.

During the report, the khyakim informed about the successful fulfillment of the silkworm tenants’ planned obligations to deliver cocoons to the state.

In addition, it was reported on preparations in the region for celebrations marking the end of the 2023–2024 academic year and the “Last Bell” ceremony. It was also reported on the progress of work on social and industrial facilities being built as part of the Country’s Socio-Economic Development Program in 2022–2028 and scheduled for opening this year.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper conduct of current agricultural campaigns, assigning the khyakim to ensure strict compliance with agricultural technology standards when caring for cotton and provide a high level of preparation for the grain harvest.

The head of state also ordered to keep the focus on the quality and timing of work in the velayat on facilities for various purposes, built as part of the National Rural Program and scheduled for commissioning this year.

Further, khyakim of Mary velayat B.Orazov reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns.

It was reported that inter-row cultivation, thinning, weeding and fertilizing with mineral fertilizers continue in the cotton fields with the maximum use of the necessary equipment and units.

At the same time, wheat care is at the final stage. Preparations are underway for the upcoming grain harvest campaign, as well as for the collection, transportation and proper storage of seed grain.

Scheduled under the program, work continues on the procurement and delivery of silkworm cocoons to the state.

The head of the regional administration also informed about preparations for cultural celebrations on the occasion of the “Last Bell” ceremony and the pace of construction of social and industrial infrastructure facilities, the opening of which is planned for the current year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Having heard the report and noting the need for proper implementation of agro-technical measures as an important condition for obtaining high yields of agricultural crops, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure strict compliance with established requirements when caring for cotton crops and organized preparation for the grain harvest.

Speaking about the significance of successfully solving the tasks provided for by the country’s socio-economic development programs, the head of Turkmenistan commissioned the khyakim to keep under control the completion of the construction of facilities that are scheduled to be put into operation this year.

It was reported that the country’s cotton growers, taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the state, are implementing a set of agro-technical measures in areas sown with cotton, including inter-row cultivation, thinning, weeding and fertilizing with mineral fertilizers with the effective use of the necessary equipment.

The care of the wheat fields enters the final stage. Along with this, appropriate steps are being taken to organize and timely conduct the upcoming grain harvesting campaign, within the framework of which receiving points, elevators and vehicles have been prepared. Relevant work is also carried out to collect, transport, receive in the prescribed manner and properly store seed grain at reception points.

At the same time, silkworm care, preparation and delivery of cocoons to the state continue in an organized manner.

Summarizing the report and having emphasized the need for an integrated approach to solving problems of obtaining high crop yields in order to strengthen food abundance in the country, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to take appropriate measures for the organized conduct of the grain harvest, as well as proper care of cotton in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology.

Addressing the participants of the working meeting and focusing on the upcoming grain harvest campaign, the head of state ordered to prepare for the harvest at a high level in order to ensure the coordinated work of all structures involved in it.
