The matches of the second round took place today at the ongoing international ice hockey tournament in Ashgabat.

In the second half of the day, a match in Group "A" was held at the main arena of the Winter Sports Complex between the teams "Bahrain Ice Hockey Club" (Bahrain) and "Ice Box Iran Mall" (Iran).

The first period was a tough battle and ended in a draw - 1:1. However, the Iranian hockey players seized the initiative in the following two periods and achieved a significant victory - 8:1 (1:1, 4:0, and 3:0).

A match in Group "B" was held between "Aqmola" (Kazakhstan) and "Dordoi" (Kyrgyzstan) at the small arena of the Winter Sports Complex. During the match, the Kyrgyzstan team led the score three times. However, the Kazakhstan team turned the game around in the third period and secured a determined victory - 5:3 (1:2, 1:0, 3:1).

Earlier today, "Galkan", eight-time champion of Turkmenistan, crushed the team "Oman Nationals" from Oman with a record score of 15:1 (4:0, 1:0, 10:1). In another parallel match, the Belarusian club "Volat" won against the Turkish team "Team-Turkiye" - 3:0 (1:0, 0:0, 2:0).

Thus, after two rounds in Group "A", "Galkan" took the lead with 6 points. Uzbekistan's "Feniks" and Iran's "Ice Box Iran Mall" have 3 points each, but they have played one less match. "Bahrain Ice Hockey Club" has yet to score any points after two games.

In Group "B", "Aqmola" (Kazakhstan) is leading with 6 points after two victories. "ADIHIC-Kazan" (Republic of Tatarstan, Russia) and "Volat" (Belarus) have 3 points each, but they have played one game. "Team-Turkiye" has no points after two defeats.
