Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims to review the pace of work in the agricultural sector and regions of the country.
The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the progress of seasonal field work.
As was reported, measures are taken to complete the cotton gathering without losses, with subsequent processing of the harvest at cotton ginning enterprises, as well as to provide timely settlements with tenants. In the meantime, preparations are under way for upcoming campaigns, including cotton sowing, such as plowing the lands, checking the condition of the technical fleet.
At the same time, care for wheat crops continues in compliance with established agro-technical standards.
The report included information on preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality, as well as on the state of affairs at the facilities scheduled for opening this year as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country.
Summing up the report, and emphasizing the importance of complying with the agro-technical requirements in carrying out seasonal activities in the fields, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under control the treatment of wheat fields and proper preparation for the upcoming campaign, including plowing the lands for cotton.
Separate instructions applied to assuring the construction quality of social and industrial infrastructure facilities scheduled for commissioning this year under the National Rural Program.
Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim H. Ashyrmyradov made the report on activities ongoing in the fields of the region.
Information was provided on targeted steps being taken to optimally complete the cotton harvest, provide its uninterrupted acceptance, proper storage and subsequent processing at specialized enterprises, as well as timely settlements with farmers. Moreover, the plowing of areas for next year’s cotton crop is in progress, as well as the preparation of machinery and equipment to be operated in the sowing season.
Furthermore, the report covered wheat care measures.
The governor of the region also informed on preparations for the upcoming festive events to celebrate the International Day of Neutrality, and on the state of affairs at the facilities scheduled for commissioning this year as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country.
Having heard the report, and focusing on the need to complete agricultural work within the established deadlines, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to conduct the care for wheat and the treatment of arable lands for the coming year’s cotton crop in accordance with the agro-technical requirements.
The khyakim was also charged with keeping under control the construction quality of social and industrial facilities to be opened this year under the Program for the Social and Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028.
The working meeting via a digital system was continued with the report from Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim S. Soltanmyradov on the progress of agricultural campaigns.
As was reported, appropriate work is carried out to assure high-quality of work to gather, uninterruptedly deliver and properly store the cotton crop, as well as timely settlements with seed cotton producers. At the same time, arable land is treated for the coming year’s cotton crop, and the necessary agricultural machinery and equipment are made ready for operation.
Along with this, crop care continues in the wheat fields in compliance with the agro-technical requirements.
Information was also provided on preparations for celebrating the International Day of Neutrality, as well as on the construction progress of social and industrial infrastructure facilities scheduled for commissioning this year under the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028.
