The President of Turkmenistan arrived in Dubai to participate in the COP 28 climate forum

Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov left for Dubai on a working visit to participate in the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-28).

After some time, the presidential airliner arrived at Sheikh Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, where the head of Turkmenistan was met by officials of the United Arab Emirates and members of the Turkmen delegation.

At the last meeting of the government of Turkmenistan, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the relevance of the world climate forum, the agenda of which will include issues of great importance for ensuring sustainable development in the world and the future of all humanity.

«Turkmenistan in practice demonstrates a responsible and proactive position in solving current environmental problems, as evidenced by the upcoming participation of the Turkmen delegation in the COP 28 conference», –the head of state emphasized.
