Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of the khyakims of velayats and the city of Ashgabat, as well as the deputy khyakim of Balkan Region for agro-industrial issues. The agenda included the progress of work in the country’s agro-industrial complex and in the capital city.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the pace of seasonal field campaigns in the region.

As was reported, these days the remaining cotton is gathered in the fields, which is then transported for processing to cotton ginning enterprises, and payments to farmers for the delivered seed cotton are made in a timely manner. The cleared lands are plowed to prepare them for next year’s crop.

Particular attention is paid to caring for wheat sprouts.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the state of affairs at the construction sites of social and industrial facilities being built under the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.

Having heard the report, the head of state emphasized that high-quality completion of all field campaigns in compliance with agro-technical standards is the most important requirement of the time, instructing the khyakim to speed up the gathering of remaining cotton, and to properly treat wheat sown fields.

The khyakim was also given a number of instructions on ensuring the high quality of work at the facilities under construction as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country, to be commissioned the current year.

Then Balkan Velayat Deputy Khyakim J. Annaev reported on the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the region.

The report included information that remaining cotton is gathered in the velayat, its delivered and processed at cotton ginning enterprises, and payments to tenants for the harvest are made in a timely manner. Plowing operations are under way in the cleared lands.

Special importance is attached to properly caring for wheat sprouts, making the full use of the required machinery.

As part of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028, the social and industrial facilities are under construction in the velayat, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the ongoing year.

Having heard the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the organized conduct of all seasonal agricultural campaigns, in view of which it is necessary to gather the whole grown cotton crop to the last boll, and strictly comply with agro-technical standards when caring for wheat sprouts.

The deputy khyakim was instructed to keep under control the construction of facilities for various purposes ongoing as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the country, to be opened and put into operation this year.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued with the report given by the Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim S. Soltanmyradov on the progress of seasonal campaigns in the northern region of the country.

As was reported, all necessary steps are taken in the velayat to gather all the cotton remaining in the fields, its high-quality processing at ginning enterprises and proper storage of seed cotton. Tenants are paid in a timely manner. At the same time, land preparation for next year’s crop is in full swing, including plowing the cleared fields.

All required agricultural machinery is operated in the treatment of wheat sown areas.

The rice harvest is at the final stage. Measures are taken to thoroughly gather the grown crops.

Moreover, the khyakim reported on the state of affairs in the construction of facilities under the National Rural Program, especially those to be commissioned the current year.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted the importance of high-quality completion of all seasonal campaigns, and instructed the khyakim to take measures to speed up cotton harvesting and proper storage.

Treatment of wheat sown fields must be carried out in accordance with the agro-technical requirements. The head of state charged the khyakim with keeping control over rice harvesting.

At the same time, the governor of velayat was instructed to keep under review the construction pace and quality at social and industrial facilities being built as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022–2028, scheduled for commissioning this year.

Further, Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

It was reported that today cotton is gathered without loss, delivered and processed at cotton ginning enterprises with its subsequent proper storage. Payments to tenants are made in a timely manner. At the same time, the lands are plowed for next year’s crop.

Much attention is paid to caring for wheat sprouts in compliance with agro-technical standards.

Work to harvest the grown rice crop is at the final stage, in which the required agricultural machinery is operated.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the state of affairs at the construction sites of the velayat. Facilities for various purposes to be put into operation this year as part of the National Rural Program are under construction.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the field campaigns currently underway and instructed the khyakim to keep control over their progress. Measures must also be taken to speed up gathering the remaining cotton, treatment of wheat sown fields in accordance with agro-technical standards, and timely completion of the rice crop harvest.

In addition, the khyakim was charged with keeping under control the construction quality of facilities being built as part of the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As was reported, appropriate measures have been taken to organize gathering remaining cotton without loss, its transportation to collection points, high-quality processing at specialized enterprises, as well as proper storage of the harvest. Payments to tenants for the delivered seed cotton are made in a timely manner. Along with this, lands are plowed to prepare them for the 2024 sowing season.

Wheat spouts are cared for in compliance with agro-technical standards, and agricultural machinery is operated effectively.

Work is also underway to gather and process sugar beets.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the construction of social and industrial facilities ongoing in the velayat under the National Rural Program and the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country, scheduled for commissioning the current year.

Having heard the report, and specifying that the main requirement today is the high-quality completion of all seasonal agricultural campaigns, the head of state instructed the khyakim to keep under control the issues related to speeding up gathering cotton without losses, treating wheat fields in compliance with agro-technical standards, maintaining coordinated activities of all participants in the sugar beets harvest.

Furthermore, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to pay more attention to the construction quality of various facilities being built as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country, scheduled for commissioning in the velayat this year.

Then Ashgabat City Khyakim R. Gandymov reported on the progress of work ongoing in the capital.

As was reported, the necessary preparations are made for high-level celebrations in the capital city of the country on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year’s Holiday.

The khyakim also reported on the work in progress as part of the urban planning program for the further development of the capital.

It was highlighted that the initiatives of our Hero Arkadag to transform Ashgabat into a city with all the amenities for a comfortable life, work and creativity of the population are successfully implemented by Arkadag Hero Serdar.

Measures are taken to transform the capital into a blooming garden, improve its beautiful sites, and create comfortable conditions for residents and guests of the city. In addition, every necessary step is taken to ensure high-quality completion of construction projects of social and industrial facilities.

Along with this, work is under way to reliably supply Ashgabat residents with electricity, natural gas, drinking water, heating and other utilities.

Commenting on the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the celebrations to be held in the capital on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year’s Holiday, widely celebrated in the country, charging the khyakim with ensuring festive decoration and improvement of Ashgabat, as well as holding public cultural events at a high level.

The head of state also ordered to keep the facilities construction quality and progress under control.

During the working meeting via a digital system, its participants cordially congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the inclusion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy in the list of significant dates to be celebrated jointly with UNESCO in 2024–2025, and wished the head of state and the Hero Arkadag sound health, long years of life and new successes in activities for the benefit of the country and the people.

The President of the country, emphasizing the importance of a responsible approach to the successful performance of the assignments, gave specific instructions on achieving the goals set.
