Development of wide fruitful international cooperation, where a great significance is attached to humanitarian relations acts as one of the priority areas of the foreign policy strategy of neutral Turkmenistan initiated by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and nowadays successfully realized by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. From time immemorial, principles of peaceful disposition, creation, good neighbourhood and mutual help transferred from generation to generation are inherent in our people. In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, they find a worthy continuation, being embodied in concrete affairs.

So, following primordial traditions of good relations and humanism of Turkmen people, the President of Turkmenistan has signed the Order with a view to send a humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine, and first of all to the Palestinian children in November of the current year on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.

The humanitarian cargo consists of medicines and medical supplies, textile products, including clothes for children and sets of bedclothes, as well as shoe, food and other goods.

Friendliness, compassion, and the eagerness to help those who are in need – an integral component of mentality of the nation. Such help also becomes a spiritual support to the people, who have occurred in a difficult reality situation. Everlasting humanistic values of Turkmen people make up a basis of activity of the Charitable Foundation created at the initiative of Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedova, who pays steadfast attention to issues of maintenance of safe and happy life of the rising generation.

From the moment of its institution, the Foundation has carried out a large-scale work by regularly expanding the sphere and scope of its activity, including intensification of international cooperation. All-round care of children, their health and harmonious development – a key criterion of the state policy of our fatherland. As the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan marks, the goal of the Charitable Foundation – to support not only young Turkmen nationals, but also those children of other countries who are in need. Indeed, the younger generation is the future of our planet.

Facts of humanitarian aid given by the Charitable Foundation to children of some foreign countries can serve as a clear evidence of it. Thus, Welfare fund activity also promotes strengthening of friendly, brotherly relations between the countries and the people.

Evident acknowledgement to that the facts of rendering serve as Fund of the humanitarian help to children of a number of foreign states. Thus, the activity of the Charitable Foundation also promotes the strengthening of friendly, brotherly relations between countries and peoples.

Consistently putting into practice the constructive foreign policy, independent neutral Turkmenistan brings a powerful contribution to the deepening of humanitarian cooperation in regional and global dimensions. The given area acts as an important aspect of development of international relations on the basis of mutual understanding, respect and trust.

Noble undertakings and initiatives of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar find a wide approval and recognition of the world community in this area. Invariably following wise precepts of ancestors, Turkmenistan is always ready to extend its helping hand to those, who are in need during difficult moments. All this testifies to adherence of our fatherland to high ideals of peace, humanism and eagerness to implement its creative potential for the entire humanity.
