Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims. The agenda included issues related to development of the agricultural complex, as well as the progress of work in the regions of the country.
The word was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.
As was reported, cotton is currently gathered to the last boll, transported to cotton ginning plants, and timely payments are made to farmers for the delivered harvest.
Moreover, vegetative irrigation, weed control and sprouts care are carried out in areas sown to wheat.
The khyakim also reported on preparations for the ceremonial events on the occasion of the Harvest Festival, as well as on the construction progress of social and industrial facilities ongoing as part of the National Rural Program, which are scheduled for commissioning this year.
Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of carrying out seasonal agricultural work at the proper level, instructing the khyakim to increase the cotton harvesting pace and gather the crop without loss, and ensure treatment of wheat fields in accordance with agro-technical standards.
At the same time, instructions were given to maintain the high construction quality of social and industrial facilities under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the country and the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning by the end of the current year.

First of all, the velayat governor expressed gratitude, on behalf of all residents of the region, to the President of Turkmenistan for initiating the construction of a modern power plant, a complex of comfortable residential houses and buildings in the Balkan Velayat, as well as for giving the blessing for the commissioning of a gas turbine electricity generating plant, and the reconstruction and opening of a multi-type hospital, wishing Arkadag Hero Serdar, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag, sound health, long years of life and success in responsible activities for the benefit of the people and the Homeland.
The khyakim further reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the fields of the velayat.
As was reported, the cotton harvest continues in the region. The necessary measures are taken to process the harvested crop at cotton ginning enterprises and ensure timely payment to farmers for the seed cotton delivered.
Work is under way to care for sprouts in wheat fields, in particular, vegetative irrigation, application of mineral fertilizers, and weed control.
The khyakim’s report also covered preparations for the Harvest Festival, which is widely celebrated in the country as a symbol of the fertility of the Turkmen land, as well as on the construction progress of social and industrial facilities as part of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028, scheduled for commissioning this year.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of seasonal agricultural work ongoing these days at a high organizational level and instructed the khyakim to increase the cotton harvesting rate and gather the crop to the last boll, as well as to keep under strict control the wheat fields treatment in accordance with agro-technical standards.
In addition, instructions were given to ensure high quality construction of social and industrial facilities under the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning by the end of this year.
The working meeting via a digital system was continued by Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim S. Soltanmyradov, who reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns.
As was reported, the cotton harvest continues in the region to gather the crop without losses, timely payments are made to farmers for delivered seed cotton, and the gathered harvest is uninterruptedly delivered to collection points and processed at cotton ginning enterprises.
Work is under way in accordance with agro-technical standards in order to achieve even germination in the fields sown to wheat. Along with this, work is in progress to harvest rice without loss and within the shortest possible time.
In addition, the khyakim reported on preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the Harvest Festival, as well as on the construction progress of social and industrial facilities to be commissioned this year as part of the National Rural Program.
Having heard the report, the head of state stressed the importance of high-quality completion of seasonal agricultural work, instructing to increase the cotton harvesting pace and gather the crop to the last boll, continue treatment operations in the fields sown to wheat in order to achieve even germination, and ensure the coordinated operation of all units participating in the rice harvest.
Moreover, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to ensure high construction quality of facilities for various purposes under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country and the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning the ongoing year.
Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the state of affairs in the region.
As was reported, the gathering of grown cotton crop continues. The smooth operation of combine harvesters and machinery in the harvest campaign is provided. Payments are made to farmers in a timely manner for the harvest delivered to cotton ginneries for processing.
Crop care is carried out in accordance with the agro-technical requirements in order to achieve an even germination of wheat. In particular, sprouts are watered and mineral and organic fertilizers are applied using agricultural machinery.
In addition, work is underway to gather and deliver the grown rice to the homeland’s bin and to store the crop in proper conditions.
The khyakim reported on preparations in the region for the upcoming Harvest Festival, which is widely celebrated throughout the country, as well as on the construction of various facilities as part of the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning the current year.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper conduct of all field campaigns, instructing the khyakim to accelerate the cotton harvesting pace and gather the crop to the last boll. It is necessary to strictly comply with the agro-technical requirements when caring for wheat crops and the rice harvesting must be carried out in an organized manner.
Then Mary Velayat Khyakim B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the region.
As was reported, every effort is made to gather the grown cotton crop without loss. The harvested crop is promptly delivered to collection points, from where it is transported to cotton ginning enterprises. Payments are made to farmers in a timely manner for the seed cotton delivered.
Guided by the instruction of the President of Turkmenistan to ensure food abundance in the country, care for wheat crops is carried out in strict accordance with agro-technical standards. In particular, vegetative irrigation and weed control are carried out.
At the same time, sugar beets are gathered, which are immediately delivered to collection points and then sent for processing.
The khyakim also reported on the preparation of cultural events on to the Harvest Festival, to be widely celebrated in the country. The report also covered the state of affairs at the facilities being built under the National Rural Program, to be commissioned the current year.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of ongoing seasonal field works, instructing the khyakim to keep under constant control cotton harvesting without losses, caring for wheat fields, and sugar beet gathering. The main requirement when performing all work is the strict compliance with agro-technical standards.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who is in charge of agro-industrial issues made a reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the regions of the country.
As was reported, all measures are taken in the velayats to gather cotton without losses, ensure timely payments to farmers for the seed cotton delivered, and high-quality processing of the crop at the relevant enterprises.
Work is carried out in accordance with agro-technical standards in the fields sown to wheat. Weed control is underway in areas where plants are germinating.
At the same time, rice harvesting continues in the Dashoguz and Lebap Velayats, and sugar beet is gathered in the Mary Velayat.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov specified that the main requirement of today is the high-quality and organized completion of all seasonal field work, and instructed the deputy prime minister to keep the cotton harvest pace and care for wheat fields under control. It is important that all work is carried out in the strict compliance with the agro-technical requirements, the head of state said.
Addressing the working meeting participants, the President of Turkmenistan focused on the need for comprehensive development of the country’s agricultural sector, a responsible approach to the successful implementation of all assignments and, gave specific instructions in this regard.
The head of state also instructed to take all measures to celebrate the Harvest Festival at a high level.
Concluding the working meeting via a digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants sound health and great success in their work for the benefit of the people and the Homeland.
