Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims. The agenda included issues related to development of the agricultural complex, as well as the progress of work ongoing in the regions of the country.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

Currently, the cotton harvest is under way and payments are made to producers in a timely manner. The collected seed cotton is sent for processing to cotton ginneries.

At the same time, the final wheat sowing stage continues in the velayat. Measures are taken in sown areas for timely vegetative irrigation and germination.

The necessary work is under way in the velayat for the organized conduct of a nationwide tree planting campaign.

The report included information on the construction pace of social and industrial facilities under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is planned for this year.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of carrying out seasonal agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards. The head of state instructed the khyakim to keep under strict control the steps taken to increase the pace of cotton harvest, as well as to complete the wheat sowing within the established agro-technical timeframes.

At the same time, instructions were given to ensure high quality construction of social and industrial facilities under of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country and the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning by the end of this year.

Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the state of affairs in the western region of the country.

The harvesting of grown cotton continues in the velayat. Payments are made to producers for the delivered seed cotton and processing of the gathered crop is in progress at cotton ginneries.

Moreover, the final wheat sowing stage is underway in the agricultural lands. Vegetative irrigation is carried out in sown areas for even germination.

Appropriate preparations are under way for a nationwide tree planting campaign in the velayat.

The report also covered the construction pace of social and industrial facilities ongoing as part of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028, scheduled for commissioning the current year.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of carrying out seasonal agricultural work in a proper and timely manner, instructing the khyakim to ensure an increase in the cotton harvest pace and the completion of winter grains sowing within the agro-technical timeframe.

The President of Turkmenistan also ordered to keep under strict control the construction of social and industrial facilities to be commissioned this year as part of the National Rural Program, as well as to provide an appropriate level of organization for the upcoming opening ceremonies of these new buildings in the near future.

Further at the working meeting via a digital system Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim S. Soltanmyradov reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns.

As was reported, the cotton harvest is in progress, and timely payments are made to producers for the delivered seed cotton, which is processed at cotton ginneries.

The necessary work is carried out in the areas sown to wheat within the velayat for achieving even germination. Moreover, rice is harvested as soon as possible and without loss.

The khyakim also reported on measures taken to organize a nationwide tree planting campaign, as well as on the construction progress of various facilities to be opened this year as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country.

Having heard the report, the head of state stressed the importance of high-quality seasonal agricultural work, instructing the khyakim to keep under strict control the issues related to speeding up cotton harvesting, caring for wheat seedlings in accordance with agro-technical standards, as well as gathering rice without loss.

In addition, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to ensure the high quality construction of social and industrial facilities being built under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, to be commissioned this year.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal field work in the region.

Currently, appropriate measures are under way to gather grown cotton without loss and ensure timely payments with agricultural producers. The gathered crop is delivered to cotton ginning enterprises, where it is processed.

At the same time, wheat sowing is at the final stage, all necessary machinery is operated in full, and watering to achieve seedlings is carried out in areas where sowing had been completed.

The pace of work in the rice fields is also high. All necessary steps are taken to gather the grown crop as soon as possible, deliver it to the state bin and ensure proper storage.

The khyakim reported on preparations for a nationwide tree planting campaign, as well as on the construction progress of facilities, scheduled for commissioning the ongoing year.

Having heard the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of completing all work quickly and efficiently, which is the present-day requirement. In this regard, the khyakim was instructed to keep control over all agricultural activities in progress. In particular, in order for all the cotton grown to be harvested to the last boll, wheat sowing must be completed within the agro-technical timeframe, and rice harvesting must be carried out in an organized manner.

The head of state also ordered to pay special attention to the quality of construction work at the facilities being built as part of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028, to be opened this year.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the region.

As was reported, the necessary work is carried out in the velayat to gather grown cotton without loss, deliver it to collection points, and further to cotton ginning enterprises. Payments to tenants are made immediately.

In addition, wheat sowing is in progress according to the plan. The fields where sowing had been completed are irrigated for better germination.

At the same time, gathering of grown sugar beets is underway, and urgent measures are taken for timely transportation and processing of the crop.

The khyakim reported on preparations for a nationwide tree planting campaign in order to transform the region into a blossoming oasis, as well as on the state of affairs at the construction sites of various facilities being built under the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.

The velayat governor expressed gratitude to the head of state, on behalf of all residents of the region, for giving the blessing to open a reconstructed 301-bed hospital completed with the latest technologies in Bayramaly etrap, wishing the Hero Arkadag Serdar and the Hero Arkadag sound health and success in government activities.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov specified that the organized conduct of seasonal agricultural campaigns is the most important requirement of the present time, giving the khyakim a number of specific instructions, including on the control over the cotton harvest progress, wheat sowing completion within the agro-technical terms, and caring for the crops in the sown fields according to agro-technical standards. The head of Turkmen state also ordered to ensure the coordinated work of all participants in the sugar beets harvest.

Moreover, the khyakim must keep under control the construction progress of social and industrial facilities to be opened this year.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who is in charge of agricultural issues, reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the regions of the country.

As was reported, work is well under way to grow and harvest agricultural crops in the velayats.

Wheat sowing is at the final stage in the regions of the country, the sown fields are irrigated for achieving proper germination and treated with mineral fertilizers.

At the same time, much attention is paid to completing the cotton harvest within the shortest possible time and without loss, transporting the crop to collection points, and further to cotton ginning enterprises. Payments to producers are made in a timely manner.

The deputy prime minister also informed that rice harvesting continues in the Dashoguz and Lebap Velayats, and sugar beets are gathered in the Mary Velayat.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted the importance of carrying out seasonal field work in accordance with agro-technical standards, and in a high-quality and organized manner. This is the requirement of today. The deputy prime minister was instructed to keep all this work under strict control.

Addressing the working meeting participants, the head of state emphasized that a responsible time is going on in agriculture. Therefore, all work must be approached responsibly and performed efficiently, complying with the agro-technical requirements and deadlines.

The head of state also instructed all velayats to prepare at the proper level for the upcoming tree planting campaign.
