Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of velayats. The agenda included issues related to development of the agricultural complex, as well as the progress of other works under way in the regions of the country.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As was reported, the cotton harvest is currently ongoing, and timely payments are made to tenants for the delivered harvest. The gathered seed cotton is processed at cotton ginneries.

Along with this, wheat sowing continues in the velayat. The necessary treatment measures are taken in the sown areas for timely vegetative watering and germination.

Relevant work is carried out to comprehensively prepare the heating systems of educational, cultural, administrative and social facilities for the winter season.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the preparations ongoing in the velayat for the Turkmen Alabai Holiday. The report included information on the construction pace of social and cultural buildings, to be commissioned this year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of ongoing seasonal agricultural campaigns. The head of state instructed the khyakim to keep under strict control the measures taken to increase the cotton harvesting pace, as well as the completion of wheat sowing within the established agro-technical timeframes.

At the same time, instructions were given to ensure high quality construction of social and industrial facilities ongoing as part of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period until 2028, scheduled for commissioning by the end of this year.

Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the state of affairs in the western region of the country.

These days, the harvesting of grown cotton continues, mutual settlements with producers are carried out, and the harvested crop is processed at cotton ginning enterprises.

Wheat is sowed in agricultural lands in accordance with agro-technical standards. Vegetative irrigation is carried out in sown areas.

Adequate work is in progress across the region to prepare heating systems for the upcoming winter season.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the events that will take place in the velayat on the occasion of the Turkmen Alabai Holiday to be celebrated in the country, as well as on the progress of work at new buildings, the commissioning of which is scheduled for this year.

Summarizing the report and noting that seasonal agricultural campaigns must be conducted in compliance with agro-technical standards, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to accelerate the cotton harvest pace and complete the winter grains sowing within the prescribed time limits.

In addition, the head of state ordered to keep under strict control the construction of social and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year, being carried out under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued with a report given by Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim S. Soltanmyradov, who reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns.

As was reported, the cotton harvest continues in the region. Timely payments are made to farmers for the delivered raw materials, which are processed at cotton ginneries.

Wheat is sowed in agricultural areas in accordance with agro-technical standards.

On these days, the necessary work is also carried out for harvesting rice.

The reported covered measures being taken in the velayat to put into operation heating systems for educational, cultural, administrative facilities and residential buildings.

Along with this, the report included information on preparations for the organized holding of the Turkmen Alabai Holiday in the region, as well as on the construction progress of facilities and buildings for social, household and industrial purposes, to be put into operation this year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ongoing seasonal field campaigns and addressing the relevant issues, in particular, increasing the cotton harvesting pace, completing the wheat sowing within the agro-technical time frame, and harvesting rice without loss. In this regard, the head of state instructed the khyakim to strictly control these works.

In addition, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to ensure a high quality level in the construction of facilities for various purposes under construction under the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028, which are scheduled for commissioning this year.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal field work in the region.

Currently, the necessary measures are taken to gather grown cotton within the optimal timeframe and carry out mutual settlements with agricultural producers. The gathered harvest is ginned and processed at specialized enterprises.

Appropriate steps are taken to timely complete wheat sowing and carry out vegetation irrigation.

At the same time, rice is harvested in the fields of the region.

The proper operation of heating systems for educational, social, administrative facilities and residential buildings has been ensured in the velayat.

The report also covered preparations under way in the region for the Turkmen Alabai Holiday and on the state of affairs at the facilities the social, cultural and industrial purpose under construction under the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period until 2028, the commissioning of which is scheduled by the end of this year.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov once again specified that an important requirement is the implementation of seasonal agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards and with high quality. In this context, the khyakim was given a number of specific instructions regarding increasing the cotton harvest pace, timely completion of the wheat sowing, and organized rice harvest.

The governor of the region was also instructed to ensure the high quality of construction of social and industrial facilities being built within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program, the opening of which is scheduled for this year.

Further, Mary Velayat Khyakim B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work.

As was reported, the cotton harvest continues in the region, mutual settlements with tenants are completed in a timely manner, and the raw cotton harvest is processed at cotton ginning enterprises.

At the same time, targeted measures are taken to sow winter grains within the established deadlines, as well as to irrigate the sown areas during the germination season.

The sugar beet harvest is underway according to the plan.

Proper work is carried out to prepare facilities for the heating season, including educational, cultural, administrative, public institutions and residential buildings.

The khakim also reported on the preparations in the velayat for events on the occasion of the Turkmen Alabai Holiday, celebrated annually in the country on the last Sunday of October, and on the construction of cultural and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year.

Having hears the report, and focusing on the need for organized agricultural campaigns in compliance with the established schedule, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to constantly focus on the measures in progress to accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting, maintain timely sowing of wheat in accordance with agricultural standards, as well as proper harvesting of sugar beets.

Separate instructions concerned quality control of the construction of facilities for various purposes to be commissioned this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who is in charge of agro-industrial complex, reported on the progress of agricultural work in the country.

The report included information that the cotton harvest is currently in progress, and steps are taken to ensure timely settlements with farmers. The gathered harvest is processed at cotton ginneries.

Wheat sowing and vegetation irrigation of sown areas are also carried out in an organized manner.

Rice harvesting continues in the Dashoguz and Lebap Velayats, and sugar beet harvesting is under way in the Mary Velayat.

Summarizing the report and focusing on the significant role of agriculture in the structure of the national economy, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under constant control measures to speed up the cotton harvesting campaign, the completion of the winter grains sowing within the established deadlines, and appropriate treatment of crops.

The governors of velayats were instructed to keep under control the uninterrupted heat, electricity and gas supply to the population, as well as ensuring a high organizational level of the upcoming opening ceremonies of facilities in the regions scheduled for the current year, as well as events on the occasion of the Turkmen Alabai Holiday to be celebrated, as annually, in the country on the last Sunday in October.

Addressing the working meeting participants, the head of state emphasized the importance of an integrated and responsible approach to fulfilling the assignments, having given specific instructions in this regard.
