President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, noted that GDP growth since the beginning of this year has remained steadily at 6.2 percent.

«Stable economic development is the main goal of our long-term strategy. And we are successfully implementing programs and carrying out reforms that cover all areas of our economy», –the head of state emphasized.

According to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to further improve the efficiency of the state investment policy, the necessary work is being carried out, the volume of investments aimed at accelerating the development of processing and manufacturing industries is systematically increasing.

«As a result of these program works, GNP growth since the beginning of this year has been steadily maintained at 6.2%. This speaks of the thoughtful nature of the country’s policy», –noted the head of the Turkmen state.
