National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke about the need to develop a strategy for the development of the country's cities.

Hero-Arkadag said this while speaking at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan noted that the standard of living of the people is firmly connected with urban planning work and the necessary legislative framework has been created in this direction in the country. According to Hero-Arkadag, the adopted resolutions make it possible to successfully continue the work related to providing people with decent housing and creating an appropriate social environment, as well as the sustainable development of human settlements.

«In this regard, we consider it necessary to develop a strategy for the development of cities in Turkmenistan. This strategy will be another important step in achieving our main goal in the new epoch - bringing the well-being of our people to the level of the most developed countries in the world», –emphasized the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
