On its way to the final, the Ahal, after 2:2 draw in the semi-final with the last year champion of Turkmenistan and silver medallist of the last Open Ashgabat Cup, the Denizchy from Balkan, won by penalties with 4:3 score. The Bagtyyarlyk confidently won over the bronze winner of the Ashgabat Cup, the Galkan with 9:2 score. The score in regular time during the match for the bronze between the Denizchy and the Galkynysh did not reveal the winner and was 0:0. The Denizchy became the bronze winner by penalties scoring 2:1. Mulkaman Annaguliyev became the best player of Turkmenistan Championship and Vatan Atayev – the best forward. Ovezbay Muhamedmuradov was the best scoring 12 goals. Turkmenistan Futsal Championship was contended by 8 teams from all velayats of the country and Ashgabat. The competition allowed to check the composition of national team for V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games to be held in Turkmen capital in 2017.
