The President of Turkmenistan proposed the creation of a Central Asian Chamber of Commerce

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at the fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Dushanbe, proposed the creation of a Central Asian Chamber of Commerce.

According to him, the most important task is to expand trade and economic relations between the countries of the region and increase the volume of mutual trade turnover.

«I think that extreme specificity and effective measures are required here. In this regard, we propose to consider the issue of creating a Central Asian Chamber of Commerce», - the head of state noted.

He emphasized that the meaning and purpose of the new structure is the coordination of joint steps of the countries of the region in the development of trade; ensuring the commercial interests of all potential economic entities in the Central Asian market; attracting investments for the implementation of large regional projects.
