Today Turkmenistan celebrates the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth in a festive atmosphere. The first bell sounded in all educational institutions of the country, announcing the beginning of the new, 2023-2024 academic year. According to the established tradition, for pupils and students, the first school day began with a flower-laying ceremony at the Monument of Independence and the monument to Berdimuhamet Annayev, installed in secondary school № 27 of the village of Yzgant, Gokdepe etrap, Ahal velayat.

The first lesson in all educational institutions was held under the motto of this year - «Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar».

On behalf of the Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, first-graders were presented with personal computers-laptops developed by the specialists of the «Aýdyň Gijeler» ES.

Every year, dozens of new educational institutions are built and put into operation in Turkmenistan. And today, by the beginning of the new academic year, architectural premieres were held in many regions and etraps of the Motherland, in the opening of which representatives of the executive branch and public organizations, honorary elders and local residents took part.

In Turkmenistan, caring for the younger generation, educating them on the basis of national and universal values is one of the main priorities of the state policy.

Within the framework of the ongoing reforms, great importance is given to the improvement of the national education system, which is the basis for the further development of society and the state.
