Today, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, located in Arkadag city, built on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, received a message of thanks from Ukraine. On this occasion, an event was held here, attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, members of the Board of the Charitable Foundation, the khyakim of Arkadag city, heads of mass media, as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkmenistan.

To recall, following the principles of humanism and good neighborliness of the Turkmen people, in March of this year, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship sent humanitarian aid to Ukrainian children. This was another evidence of the effectiveness of the original national traditions – to lend a helping hand.

The message of thanks notes that relevant pharmaceutical products and medicines have been sent to Ukraine from the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, goods from the Ministry of Textile Industry, as well as food products from the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of our country.

As the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized, at present, relations between Turkmenistan and Ukraine are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, and fruitful cooperation is being strengthened. The humanitarian aid sent to the children of Ukraine is an act of friendship, a symbol of the commitment of our people to the primordial humane principles.

At the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, created on the initiative of the Hero-Arkadag, humanitarian aid was also sent to the Republic of Türkiye and Afghanistan. This is a clear confirmation of the friendliness of the Turkmen people, their ability to empathize and help those who need support.

The next speaker was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkmenistan, who, on behalf of the Ukrainian people and on his own behalf, expressed gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for humanitarian assistance and quoted the wise words of the National Leader of the Turkmen people that caring for children is caring for bright future.

Along with the thankful message to the Charitable Foundation, the diplomat handed over photographs showing the happy faces of children from different regions of Ukraine who received gifts from Turkmenistan. The message contains words of sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side from the chief physician of the Belozersk Hospital Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise, the General Director of the OKHMATDET National Specialized Children’s Clinic and others.

As the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkmenistan noted, receiving humanitarian aid has become a joyful event in the life of Ukrainian children. Rendering assistance to people in need is a vivid example of the significant role of the Charitable Foundation founded by the Hero-Arkadag in the development and strengthening of friendly relations between countries.

The Director General of the Children’s Recreation and Rehabilitation Center accepted the message of thanks and photographs, noting that they would be placed in the Museum of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. The head of the Center also emphasized that the Foundation, created on the initiative of the Hero-Arkadag, helps not only young Turkmen citizens, but also regularly sends humanitarian aid to children from around the world. Today, the Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center, on the territory of which the Headquarters of the Charitable Foundation is located, gives children hope for a happy life, illuminating their faces with a smile.

Highlighting that thanks to the efforts of the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar, our young generation is surrounded by constant care and attention, the vice-president of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship noted the importance of the humanitarian aid sent by our country to Ukraine. As a result of the tireless work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, humanitarian aid is regularly sent to different states, being a clear evidence of the strengthening of friendship and brotherhood between peoples. In the new epoch, Turkmenistan, along with other areas, is actively developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation, steadily increasing its authority on the world stage.

Then the event participants were acquainted with the conditions created at the Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkmenistan highly appreciated the possibilities of the Center.

Today, thanks to the fatherly care of the Hero-Arkadag, young citizens of the Fatherland are surrounded by increased attention and love. The priority of the state policy pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov is the support of the family, the protection of motherhood and childhood, the upbringing and education of the younger generation. Humanitarian assistance is also provided to children from other countries, which demonstrates the commitment of Turkmenistan to the principles of humanism, good neighborliness, and mutual assistance.
