Today, the "Döwlet daragty" play by People's Writer of Turkmenistan Govshutgeldy Dangatarov, directed by Honored Art Worker of Turkmenistan Ainazar Batyrov, was staged at the Aman Gulmammedov State Drama Theater in Arkadag city.
The plot of the production is based on the works "Döwlet guşy", "Älem içre at gezer", "Ömrümiń manysynyń dowamaty" by Hero-Arkadag and consists of five parts covering different periods of the country's history, and also pays tribute to the outstanding personalities who left a noticeable mark in this history.
The first part of the play is dedicated to Oguz-Khan and his role in founding the fortress in the village of Yzgant, in the foothills of the Kopetdag. The second chapter tells about the sultans of the Great Seljuk Empire - Togrul Beg, Chagry Beg, Alp Arslan, as well as about Mane Baba, a prominent representative of that time.
The life of famous horse breeder Aba Seyis, who created new pedigree lines of legendary Akhal-Teke horses and did much to preserve the purity of the breed, was the basis for the third part of the show.
Then the action continues with the historical events described in the book "Döwlet guşy" by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people. In particular, it tells about the heroism shown during the Great Patriotic War by Berdimuhamet aga and Myalikguly aga.
The final part of the play is dedicated to the work of Aman Gulmammedov, People's Artist of Turkmenistan.
The "Döwlet daragty" play was a great success with the audience.
