An opera music concert was held as part of the celebrations dedicated to the opening of Arkadag, the first city of state significance in Turkmenistan.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the country, was held in a cozy hall of the Aman Gulmammedov State Drama Theater, which had opened the day before.
The best opera soloists of the Turkic states took part in the concert along with the masters of the opera scene of Turkmenistan, and this gave the event a special significance.
Musicians of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of Rasul Klychev provided musical accompaniment to the soloists’ performances. Listeners, organizers, and artists themselves noted the incredible harmony and coherence of all performances.
The concert was further evidence of the success of international cultural diplomacy conducted by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, including the dialogue with TURKSOY, aimed at preserving, studying and promoting in the world the rich heritage of Turkic-speaking peoples, which is an integral part of the universal cultural treasury.
