Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of the hyakims of velayats to consider issues related to development of regions in the country.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the progress of field campaigns.

As was reported, at present, cotton fields’ treatment is under way in accordance with agro-technical standards, in particular, applying mineral fertilizers, irrigation, and pest control.

Along with this, in order to complete in an organized manner the started wheat harvest campaign, steps are taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of combine harvesters, vehicles, collection points, as well as timely settlements with producers for the crops delivered.

Guided by the objectives set by the head of state to supply the population with agricultural products in full, care for potatoes, onions and other crops continues in compliance with the agro-technical requirements, and the harvest of the ripen crop has begun.

The report included information on preparations for the celebration of Science Day, as well as on the construction pace of social and industrial facilities, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.

Having heard the report and focusing on the importance of seasonal field campaigns, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to carry out the wheat harvest at a high level, to control the work pace to care for cotton in accordance with agro-technical standards, giving the khyakim a number of specific instructions in this regard.

Particular attention must be paid to the quality and timeliness of construction of various facilities ongoing under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Country in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program, to be commissioned this year. The head of state instructed the governor of the region to keep these issues under control.

Then, Balkan Velayat Khyakim T. Atahallyev reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As was reported, application of mineral fertilizers, irrigation and pest control continue the areas sown to cotton.

Along with this, grain harvesters, vehicles and collection points have been prepared for the organized wheat harvest.

Guided by the instructions given earlier by the President of the country to grow bountiful crops, potatoes, onions and other crops caring is under way in the region in compliance with agro-technical standards.

The khyakim reported on the preparations for the events on the occasion of Science Day, as well as on the construction progress of social and industrial facilities as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country, the commissioning of which is scheduled for this year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of high-quality field campaigns, including cotton care in accordance with agro-technical standards, giving the khyakim instructions to accelerate the pace thereof.

The head of state also ordered to organize the wheat harvest in the region, ensure the smooth and coordinated work of all departments during this crucial season.

As was reported, at present, cotton fields’ treatment is under way in strict accordance with agro-technical standards, in particular, inter-row cultivation, weeding, thinning, application of mineral fertilizers, pest control, and vegetation irrigation.

At the same time, combine harvesters, vehicles and grain receiving points are fully prepared for the organized holding of the grain harvesting season.

In order to gather bountiful harvests, potatoes, onions and other crops are cared for in compliance with the agro-technical requirements. The rice sowing has been completed in the velayat, and at present, due attention is paid to the care for crops.

The khyakim’s report included information in the preparation for festive events to celebrate Science Day, as well as the construction progress of social and industrial facilities as part of the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.

Having heard the report, the head of state pointed out the need to comply with the agro-technical standards when conducting agricultural campaign, including cotton caring, and ordered to step up seasonal field campaigns.

Along with this, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of organizing the grain harvest campaign at a high level and the smooth operation of all structures during this period, giving the khyakim a number of instructions.

The head of state also instructed the khyakim to keep strict control over the quality and deadlines of construction pace of various facilities as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, to be put into operation this year.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiyev reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As was reported, inter-row cultivation, thinning, weeding, application of mineral fertilizers, irrigation and pest control are carried out in the areas sown to cotton in strict accordance with agro-technical standards.

At present, grain harvesting has begun in an organized manner in the velayat, grain harvesters and vehicles are operated at full capacity, and collection points have been prepared. Payments to farmers for crops delivered will be made without delay.

Guided by the instructions given by the head of state on growing bountiful crops, potatoes, onions and other crops are cared for taking into account agro-technical requirements. In addition, everything is ready in the region for the start of rice sowing.

The khyakim reported on the preparation for events on the occasion of Science Day, as well as the construction progress of social and industrial facilities ongoing under the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that the high-quality conduct of seasonal field campaigns is a requirement of the time and ordered, in this regard, to provide high-quality care for cotton within agro-technical terms, step up work pace in this area, ensure the smooth operation of all structures involved in the grain harvest, and start rice sowing in an organized manner.

The head of state focused on the need for a comprehensive approach to the successful implementation of provisions outlined in the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program, as well as to the control over the quality and deadlines of social and industrial facilities under construction, to be commissioned this year.

Then, Mary Velayat Khyakim D. Annaberdiev reported on the pace of seasonal field campaigns.

As was reported, with the blessing of the President of the country, according to the plan, the grain harvest began in the region on June 2, grain harvesters and vehicles are operated at full capacity to transport the gathered crop, and collection points were prepared. Urgent measures have been taken to ensure timely payments for the grain delivered.

At the same time, cotton fields’ treatment continues taking into account the agro-technical requirement, in particular, irrigation, application of mineral fertilizers, thinning, inter-row cultivation, and weeding. Efforts are made to control agricultural pests.

Guided by the objectives set by the head of state to ensure food abundance, expand the area for planting potatoes, onions and other crops, and raise the yield thereof, care for these crops continues in the velayat.

In addition, the head of state ordered to keep under strict control the quality and deadlines of construction of social and industrial facilities ongoing as part of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, to be commissioned this year. 

Addressing the governors of regions, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that now a crucial time has come in agriculture, that is the grain harvest beginning, in view of which it is necessary to take urgent measures to properly organize the harvest, ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation of all structures involved, as well as step up the work pace in the cotton fields, having given them specific instructions.

Separate instructions applied to the high level organization of events timed to coincide with Science Day.

Focusing on the issues related to maintaining the country’s environmental safety, the head of state highlighted that nature protection and concern for it are priorities of the state policy, and congratulated the working meeting participants on the World Environment Day.
