President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov proposed to hold a Youth Forum of Central Asia and China in the Turkmen city of Mary. This initiative was put forward by the head of state, speaking at the first summit «Central Asia - China» in the Chinese city of Xi'an.

«We also proceed from the importance of strengthening cooperation in the humanitarian sphere and stand for the development of scientific and educational ties between our countries», -the head of state said.

He noted that the peoples of Central Asia and China, who gave the world outstanding scientists, inventors, thinkers, are the heirs and keepers of the richest cultural and scientific traditions.

According to the President of Turkmenistan, it is necessary to encourage this interest and actively promote broad cultural and scientific exchanges on a regular basis.

«Developing the idea of the importance of establishing and expanding regular ties between the peoples of the countries of Central Asia and China, I propose to organize and hold a Forum of Youth of the Countries of Central Asia and China in November this year in the city of Mary», -Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.
