Telephone conversation was held between the Presidents of Turkmenistan and the republic of Uzbekistan. Having warmly greeted each other, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated with delight high level and constructive character of interstate Turkmen – Uzbek dialog, which is successfully developed in bilateral and multilateral formats under competent regional and international organization and structures.  Taking the opportunity, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated for one more time Shavkat Mirziyoyev on winning the presidential elections and wished strong health and great successes in his responsible activity on the highest government post.  During the conversation, the condition and prospects of Turkmen – Uzbek cooperation in the context of realization of bilateral agreement achieved earlier, priorities of social and economic development of both states and plans for the future. At the same time, the presence of favourable opportunities for further increase of mutually beneficial partnership in trade and economic sector, transport and communication sphere and in number of other directions, taking into account existing versatile potential, was mentioned.  The Presidents of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan spoke for comprehensive improvement of fruitful contacts in humanitarian sphere, which is stipulated by historically formed cultural relations of two neighbouring peoples and community of centuries-old traditions.  During telephone conversation, the Presidents also shared the visions on the subjects of regional agenda. At this, active position of the Sides on consolidation of efforts for support of peace, stability and prosperity was confirmed.
