Today, in honour of International Women’s Day, which is widely, marked in Turkmenistan, the solemnity under the title “Arkadag Serdarly bagtyýar zenanlar!” (“Happy women with Arkadag Serdar!” was held in the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

These words, which are full of inspiration and pride for one’s fatherland and President of the country, became a keynote of the festive meeting devoted to all our female compatriots, who make a weighty contribution to spiritual and moral revival of people, development of the fatherland, transformations initiated by the head of the state, and of course, education of the worthy generation –future of the fatherland.

In the festive meeting representatives of the leadership of the country, various ministries and departments, mass media took part. 

Among honoured guests, there were women of many children, labour veterans, distinguished workers and active members of public organizations, scholars, and workers of culture, workers from various sectors of economy as well as diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited to Turkmenistan.

In the festive message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to mothers, women and girls of independent neutral Turkmenistan their great service in education of the growing generation in the spirit of high patriotism and humanism are noted. “We are boundlessly proud of our women, who not only educate children and continue to keep family heaths and national traditions, but also working in various branches, institutions of state management, sectors of economy, spheres of science and education, culture and healthcare, make their own contribution to implementation of large scale transformations“, the head of the state underlines.

Today, most kind wishes and congratulations were addressed to the better halves of humanity on the occasion of International Women’s Day, true recognition in bright and inspiring feelings, words of deep gratitude for maternity kindness and care, tenderness and spiritual generosity. 

At the present meeting, for the first time, a new song by Hero Arkadag “Ýaşlara gutlag” was performed inspiring young Türkmen nationals into grandiose goals –a unique creative message to the happy youth of our country.

The new song that narrates the happiest day in the life of every man, became an expression of best wishes of the paternal heart to his child and a blessing on the bright path.

Honoured actor of Turkmenistan Dovlet Amanlykov performed this wonderful vocal instrumental composition glorifying sacred aspirations of parental heart.

From time immemorial spiritual and moral values of the nation are highly respected by Turkmen people, who attach special significance to education of the growing generation – future of the fatherland, strengthening of scared pillars of the family, protection of its moral pillars. and today, in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State wise traditions of our ancestors find their worthy continuation and new enrichment. 

In the present wonderful epoch of prosperity, every day of our people is filled with festive events. All aspects of nation’s life mode and mentality are blended in them harmonically. The dream of every parent is to build a better life for his child. 

The song “Ýaşlara gutlag” (“Congratulation to the youth”), created by an artistic impulse of Hero Arkadag in the present year of “The Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, serves an expression of best wishes and a unique blessing to young people and therefore, ti is worth of being performed in weddings. 

The new song, which augmented the festive atmosphere of the event, was welcomed with great inspiration by its participants.

In speeches of participants of the event, including representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited to our country, an ever-growing role of women in the life of modern Turkmen state and society was underlined. Special attention was attached to the politics of Turkmenistan towards women, reliable guarantee of ensuring and protection of rights of whom are the Constitution and relevant acts of national legislation as well as programs successfully realized in the fatherland and connected with education and health of our female compatriots, their social and civil status.

Women of Turkmenistan, who constantly feel care of the state and are filled with deep gratitude to Arkadagly Serdar for all round care, peace and wellbeing in our homes, an opportunity to work and educate children with no worry, for the wonderful spring holiday, which warms with its kind and tender warmth and light. 

Women –mothers from time immemorial have been considered a pride of our people, who held a great respect and tribute for them as keeper of family hearth, wise adviser and loyal companion, who stood shoulder on shoulder with men during trials and became a muse for them in the period of peace and wellbeing. Wonderful traditions of our ancestors find their continuation in the present time –epoch of true dawn of all round talents of Turkmen women.

In fact, women are a national wealth of the country, its pride and asset. Representatives of the better half left a noble trace in the national history and today make a great contribution to construction of the new life constantly feeling all-round care and support from the state and society. Participation of our female compatriots in adoption of most important state, political decisions is one of the important factors of stable and sustainable development of healthy and full-fledged society of social equality and justice. Indeed, women are not named without reason the better half of humanity and not only for that, they are tender and caring but for the reason that thanks to their spiritual generosity, they make the surrounding world more perfect and humane.

Today, women demonstrate their best professional and personal qualities in various spheres and occupy key positions and confidently master advanced spheres of science displaying not only a competent approach but also ability to think anew. So, the better half of Turkmen society is widely represented in structures of all branches of state power –legislation, executive, judicial, various sectors of national economy of the country and take an active part in foreign policy and successfully run entrepreneurial activity.

Active creators of the new historical epoch play an ever-growing role in solution of important issues of regional and global agenda and today women with strong political will and economic independence are more demanded than ever and they can lead, create and change the world for better.

Turkmenistan fruitfully cooperates with international human rights organizations, facilitates achievement of quality results in further advancement of generally accepted standards in gender policy. One of the bright examples for it is participation of our country in the Women’s Dialogue, which is the first one in the history of Central Asia and was founded in December of 2020 with assistance of the UN Development Program and UN Regional Center for Preventative Diplomacy in Central Asia. At present, the Dialogue has become functional and highly demanded regional resource. 

As one of the most important conditions of stable development of society today the state provides women with all possible easy terms, creates conditions for their worthy life and creative work and ensures gender equality on a legislative basis. A systematic work is carried out in the country to observe their rights and interest, to support families and protect maternity and childhood. All this making our women happier, speaks of the success of our main motto “Fatherland can become fatherland only with people! State can become state only with people!”

These words of the head of the state find acknowledgement in concrete affairs - creation of favourable conditions for development of intellectual and social potential of women, perfection of legislative system in the field of protection of their rights, successful realization of programs aimed at protection of health of mother and child, support of large families and others.

Our female compatriots, who successfully combine their professional careers with their family obligations, deserve every praise and support. The motherhood and education of children are a sacred mission of women. Expression of warm gratitude for their great contribution to destiny of Turkmen people, education of the worthy generation became a ceremony of celebration of mothers of many children awarded according to the Decree of President Serdar Berdymuhamedov the honorary title «Ene mähri». But, first of all, this title is the highest distinction, a special recognition of their merits before society and the state.

A large group of extended families has received keys to new houses with modern conveniences. It has become a noble tradition to present on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan with monetary gifts all women of our country, including pensioners, housewives, working women, students, schoolgirls and little girls – children of kindergartens. Such warm relation to women - a kind sign of time of creative fulfilments of the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State.

The traditional image of Turkmen women associated first of all with a role of mother and faithful wife, keeper of family hearth, continuation of moral and cultural values, becomes today more significant. The spiritual, intellectual and moral potential of our female compatriots is more actively used for solution of social problems.

Throughout many years at the initiative of Hero-Arkadag in Turkmenistan, a big work has been carried out for preservation, enrichment and wide popularization of cultural and spiritual heritage of our people, which have brought a powerful contribution to the treasury of universal values.

Our female compatriots could embody history in the brightest, capacious and expressive form - in unsurpassed art of carpet making and embroideries, canons of which have been laid down in the basis of national creative school. These traditions have received rebirth in modern Turkmen culture, having found a new life and development.

Continuing and improving the fine art of carpet making, today our skilled workers create delightful original patterns and ornaments serving elements of ornament of clothes, subjects of life mode, decorative cloths. This popular kind of applied art - one of original "visiting cards" of Turkmenistan.

The image of women in poetic creativity was and remains to be one of the central object of worship, expression of relation to the world and a source of inspiration. Since ancient times, Turkmen poets and writers, musicians and artists compared unsurpassed beauty of women to heavenly bodies - the Sun and the Moon, with unique fineness of wonderful flowers and glorified the bottomless depth of beautiful female eyes. We have inherited from ancestors noble traditions of deep respect for women-mothers, kind, gentle relation to sisters and brides, wise admonishments to esteem and protect them.

… The atmosphere of special warmth reigning in the hall filled with spring melodies supported by popular variety actors with inspiration executing fine national melodies and songs glorifying female beauty, love, eternal youth and generosity of ancient Turkmen land. From lips of famous art workers warm congratulations and kind wishes to dear mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters sounded.

The literary-musical composition «Enä tagzym - mukaddeslige tagzym» by the book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov under the same title and brilliantly executed by actors of capital theatres and dancing groups became a remarkable overture of celebration. In the small play the beauty, kindness, nobleness of soul and fidelity, inexhaustible love and tenderness - feelings, with which images of the better half of humankind are inseparably linked, were sung. This introduction to creative action sounded a hymn of women.

The patriotic song «Arkadagly Serdarym», glorifying the great landmark of modern epoch and pride for the independent native land and Arkadagly Serdar, under the leadership of whom grandiose transformations are carried out today for the benefit of people and further prosperity of the beloved fatherland was filled with the feeling of boundless gratitude to the head of the state.

The love to the better half of humankind was depicted in the performances of popular ensemble of violinists “Mukam”, which presented a bouquet of melodies from works of world musical classics. The romantic song of "Mattino" sung in Italian was welcomed with a burst of applause in the hall.

On the stage soloists - skilled masters and young performers who devoted to female compatriots songs filled with admiration, love and gratitude to women, appeared.

A link between the past and the present, traditions and modernity found their reflection in the holiday program. Men displayed their skill on the stage.  By their execution works of national musical classics, popular variety and national songs of women and happiness and fidelity, parental love and patience, unsurpassing beauty of the native land and spring sounded. Pictures accompanied all numbers. 

Deeply touching vocal compositions were replaced by incendiary performances inspiring the public to dance, festive congratulations glorifying female beauty, not ceasing to inspire poets, composers and singers.

The song «Bagtyýar zenanlar, bagtly sonalar!” became a final chord of the concert, devoted to tender, lovely and charming and modest, wise, true and self-denying women of Turkmenistan.

All participants of the concert and the hero of the celebration joined soloists, who deserved this extraordinary warmth and bright holiday.

Musical events these days take place in all corners of the country - on the best concert platforms of capital and velayats. Moreover, these remarkable solemn actions devoted to spring and women are conformable to the spirit of the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State - it maintains pleasure of creation and new life, embodiment of the fine noble start, which always nourished our belief, force and best hopes.
