Words of deep empathy and support to the fraternal Turkish people, who suffered from a strong earthquake that caused numerous human casualties, injuries and large-scale destruction, were expressed by Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova, the spouse of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, and the mother of Arkadag Serdar to Emine Erdogan, the wife of the President of the Republic of Türkiye during a telephone conversation today.

Expressing on behalf of her family, including her husband and son, mothers and all the Turkmen people, her deep sorrow over the grave tragedy that occurred in Türkiye, the Arkadag’s wife voiced condolences to Emine Erdogan and all the Turkish people and prayed the Almighty that the souls of the deceased rest in peace in paradise, and these difficult days pass, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

Noting that, on behalf of her husband, son and family, all the Turkmen people, additional humanitarian aid was sent to the fraternal Turkish people, including winter clothes for children affected by the strongest earthquake, the Arkadag’s wife stressed that the Turkmen party was ready to provide any support at this difficult moment to the families, relatives and friends of the deceased and injured.

Emine Erdogan, the wife of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, on behalf of the people of Türkiye, as well as on her own behalf, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the words of empathy and support, emphasizing that showing sympathy, extending a helping hand in difficult times for them is very important to raise the spirit of the Turkish people.

At the end of the telephone conversation, the Arkadag’s wife once again expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims, wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured, and peace and prosperity to women, children and all the fraternal Turkish people.
