New Year’s presents for children of “Döwletliler Köşgi” Palace

Today, in the festively decorated hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry a New Year solemnity took place with participation of inmates of «Döwletliler Köşgi» Palace, who were given presents on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

He ensuring of wellbeing and harmonious development of the growing generation, improvement of health, and opportunities for high quality education are outlined in key areas of the state policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, which is based on generally accepted standards and humane national traditions.

Unremitting attention is attached to young citizens of the country, who need especial care. Turkmen people for many centuries developed clear criteria passed from generation to generation in this regard. Today, they are embodied in a complex of legal acts, which ensure guarantee protection and ensuring of legal interests of orphan children, and children, who were deprived of their parent as well as in the system of economic and other target measures aimed at adaption in society, special social support and preparation for individual life.

Today, near the large fir tree installed in the hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the festive atmosphere prevails. Avaz baba, Garpamyk, rabbit, a symbol of the upcoming year as well as representatives of a number of ministries, departments and public organizations came to congratulate children of “Döwletliler Köşgi” Palace with the New Year.

Thanks to the care of head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov all conditions are created for harmonious, intellectual and physical development of these children and for all-round discovery of their talent.

They discover the world of fine art and music, and are engaged in various sports clubs, circles, and many of them are holders of prize places in art contests and international festivals held in Turkmenistan and abroad. Among them is the dance group «Joshgun», holder of the children’s prize named after Gulbaba.

Having performed their concert program in today’s event, young Turkmen nationals demonstrated their creative skill.

Near the shining tinsel and illumination of the beautiful fir tree, they with great excitation and joy recited their poems, performed songs and dances glorifying our beloved fatherland, head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov as well as our favourite New Year holiday.

The performance of young gifted children was over with the circle dance with Avaz baba, Garpamyk and characters of Turkmen folklore and fairy tales of peoples of the world.

Then to the great joy of children on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov they were given presents.

Children of “Döwletliler Köşgi” Palace expressed their gratitude to the head of the state and Hero Arkadag for happy peaceful childhood, constant care and attention as well as kindest wishes and congratulations with the New Year.
