Thanking for the kind words and sending his greetings and best wishes to the top leadership of the United Arab Emirates, the head of state said that he is pleased to welcome the members of the delegation of the friendly country to the ancient and hospitable Turkmen land. During the meeting firm confidence was expressed that the current visit of the delegation would facilitate the holding of specific meetings aimed at further developing a productive Turkmen-Emirati partnership, as well as identifying priorities in various areas.

“I recall with great warmth my recent official visit to the UAE, during which the highest level negotiations were held, and important agreements were reached”, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted.

As was noted, the key issue of interstate relations is the practical implementation of these agreements in the future. In this context, the conviction was expressed that the current negotiations, as well as other meetings to be held during the visit, including with the leaders of the major sectors of the economy, will provide broad opportunities for building up wide-ranging cooperation.

Focusing on the importance of expanding the close relations established between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates, the head of state confirmed the interest of our country in deepening these ties and enriching them with new content. As was emphasized, at present, traditionally friendly relations are characterized by a high level of mutual understanding and trust. Based on mutual respect and consent, the Turkmen-Emirati dialogue is developing both at the bilateral level and within the international organizations.
