Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system to consider issues related to the course of agricultural campaigns in the regions of the country, which was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of velayats.

First, the floor was given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the pace of seasonal field work, measures taken to gather cotton to the last boll, and preparations for the celebration of the International Day of Neutrality.

As was reported, at present, work on care of wheat crops, watering of shoots, as well as plowing of lands freed from cotton are carried out in accordance with agro-technical standards. Timely settlement of accounts is performed with tenant cotton growers for the delivered harvest.

Heating systems in the region are operating properly, uninterrupted supply of electricity and gas to the population has been organized. All this work is under constant control.

The head of the regional administration also reported on the measures planned, as part of the Program for Socio-Economic Development of the Country and the National Rural Program, for the construction of facilities to be opened this year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that harvesting the grown cotton crop to the last boll, plowing the freed lands and preparing them for the next year’s crop in accordance with agricultural technology standards, timely settlement of accounts with tenants for the harvest delivered to the state are the requirements of today, and gave the khyakim a number of specific instructions.

Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim T. Atahallyev reported on the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the western region of the country, the pace of construction at social and industrial facilities, the commissioning of which is scheduled for this year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ongoing seasonal agricultural work, including wheat fields’ treatment, and gave the khyakim a number of instructions to speed up this work.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued by the report of Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim N. Nazarmyradov on seasonal field work in the northern region of the country.

The President of the country instructed the khyakim to properly prepare for the celebrations on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality, take measures to ensure the abundance of domestically produced foodstuffs in the shops and markets of the region during the holidays.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldyev reported on the pace of seasonal field work and preparations for the celebration of the International Day of Neutrality.

The head of state specified that treatment and vegetation irrigation in the fields sown to wheat must be carried out in accordance with agro-technical standards.

In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under strict control the work carried out under the Program for socio-economic development of the country and the National Rural Program.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim D. Annaberdyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region and the implementation of the objectives arising from the adopted programs for the socio-economic development of the Homeland.

Having heard the report, the President of the country focused on the importance of ongoing seasonal agricultural work, in particular, harvesting cotton to the last boll, plowing the land for next year’s crop in accordance with agricultural technology standards, timely settlement of accounts with tenant cotton growers for the harvest delivered, and gave the Khyakim a number of relevant instructions.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country’s velayats.

Currently, appropriate steps are taken to gather cotton to the last boll, store the harvest in accordance with agro-technical standards, and process it at cotton ginneries in order to provide raw materials for the domestic textile industry.

At the same time, appropriate work is under way to supply cotton growers with high-quality seeds, repair agricultural machinery and prepare them for the next season.

The Vice Premier informed that the treatment of wheat fields in the regions of the country are cared for in accordance with agricultural technology standards, well-coordinated work has been arranged to harvest rice, as well as sugar beets in the Balkan and Mary Velayats.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the challenges facing agriculture and emphasized the importance of completing seasonal agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards and with high quality.

Addressing the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the agro-industrial complex and the khyakim of velayats, the President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of a responsible approach to the implementation of the objectives set, and complete seasonal agricultural work within the agro-technical timeframe.
