Today, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working trip to Mary velayat, got acquainted with the progress of seasonal campaigns on agricultural lands in the region and the conditions created for the fruitful work of tenants.

...In the morning, the Hero-Arkadag arrived at the agricultural lands in the “Milli goşun” daikhan association of Mary etrap. The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh stopped near the plot rented by the farmer Dovletgeldi Rejepov. 

Here the Hero-Arkadag was warmly greeted by the daikhan, reaping the fruits of his conscientious work.

Having examined the site, where boxes of “white gold” have already opened everywhere, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh asked about the crop yield.

After asking the cotton farmer about everyday work, family and work, the Hero-Arkadag said that he had come to visit the selfless daikhans.

In his turn, D. Rejepov expressed sincere gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag, stressing that the current visit to his rental plot is a sign of great respect for the workers of the fields. As the farmer noted, every effort is currently being made to harvest the resulting cotton crop without losses. Neighbors also help in this matter. Their cohesion allows us to achieve good results.

Stressing that the state creates all conditions for the productive work of daihans, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh noted that as a result of the industrialization of the economy on a comprehensive basis, great successes are achieved, which positively affects the import-substituting segment of production. In this aspect, targeted measures are being taken to supply the textile industry of the country with a sufficient amount of environmentally friendly cotton.

D.Rejepov told that he has been engaged in agriculture for more than twelve years, growing cotton, wheat and other agricultural crops on the leased plot. To date, 12 tons of “white gold” have been delivered from fields with an area of 12 hectares to the bins of the Homeland and it is planned to hand over another 15 tons of harvest.

In continuation of the conversation, D. Rejepov said that thanks to the consistent support from the state, daikhans have excellent opportunities for productive work, are provided with the necessary mineral fertilizers, chemicals, water and machinery on preferential terms, and on behalf of all farmers expressed gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The tenant also said that along with cotton, he grows potatoes, vegetable and melon crops on the plot, keeps domestic animals on the farm. He said that he has two sons and a daughter, and his wife and eldest son are working in the field with him. D.Rejepov stressed that the arrival and meeting of the Hero-Arkadag with the workers of the village is perceived by him as a contribution to a common good cause.

Noting that the Harvest Festival is solemnly celebrated in the country on Sunday, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh congratulated the tenant on a significant date in the life of agricultural workers. The wise saying “The wealth of the harvest is abundant prosperity” testifies to the honor for the work of daikhan, said the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh and wished the farmer further success in the noble cause.

Expressing gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag, D. Rejepov highlighted that the current meeting was a bright event in his life and for the family as a whole, as well as a manifestation of great attention and respect.

It is happiness to live, reaping the fruits of conscientious hard work, and we are glad that, thanks to the selfless work of farmers, prosperity and abundance reign in our Motherland, said the Hero-Arkadag and presented gifts to the tenant on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

At the request of daikhan, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh took a picture with him as a souvenir.

Then Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov headed towards the fields of the “Zarpçy” daikhan association. Today, work is in full swing on the agricultural lands of the region, as well as throughout the country – cotton is being harvested at an accelerated pace, in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, the care of grain seedlings continues. All this testifies to the comprehensive and effective nature of the measures taken to obtain high yields. 

The Hero-Arkadag stopped at the field of the tenant farmer Mukhammetmyrat Yasharov.

Welcoming the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh, M. Yasharov stressed that the grandiose reforms initiated by the Hero-Arkadag for the comprehensive development of agriculture are successfully continuing under the leadership of the head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and expressed sincere gratitude to the President of the country.

After inspecting the field, the Hero-Arkadag noted the uniform shoots of wheat on the rented plot and asked about the working days of the farmer.

According to M. Yasharov, wheat is grown on 4 hectares of land. Vegetation irrigation and fertilization of crops with mineral fertilizers are carried out in accordance with agrotechnical standards. The worker also proudly said that the state provides the necessary support for the productive work of rural workers. By-products from the processing of raw cotton deposited in the bins of the Motherland, including presscake, are sold at a discounted price – with a 50% discount, which is an additional incentive for conscientious work.

Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also asked daikhan about work, family, and support measures provided by the state.

Emphasizing that country provides benefits and creates necessary conditions for the fruitful work of farmers and their obtaining high yields of agricultural crops, the tenant, on behalf of all field workers, expressed gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

According to M.Yasharov, he has been engaged in agriculture for 22 years, he has a son and a daughter, he cultivates vegetables and fruit trees on his plot.

Crop rotation is given great importance, and this practice is considered important for preserving the fertility of the land and growing generous harvests, said the tenant, saying that he expects to collect 60-70 quintals of grain per hectare. M.Yasharov thanked the Hero-Arkadag for attention and valuable advice.

Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh stated that today, in accordance with the soil and climatic conditions of each velayat, along with other crops, rich harvests of wheat and sugar beet are grown, which creates good prerequisites for crop rotation according to the requirements.

The Hero-Arkadag noted that the state will always provide full support to the daikhans, and congratulated the tenant and his family members on the widely celebrated Harvest Festival in the country, presenting a memorable gift on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. At the request of the villager, the Hero-Arkadag took a picture with him as a souvenir.

Inspecting the green crops, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh stressed the importance of actively using innovative methods and scientific achievements in agriculture. In this regard, special attention should be paid to the work of breeders. It is necessary to select seeds and fertilizers in accordance with the soil and climatic conditions of each region, which is the main condition for increasing soil fertility.

Underlining the importance of explaining the successes achieved in agriculture and the accumulated experience, the Hero-Arkadag emphasized the significant role of members of political parties and public organizations in this work, giving valuable advice on this matter.

Then the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to the Mary enterprise of bread products of the “Marygallaönümleri” production association. On the territory of the production complex, equipped with the most modern equipment, there is an elevator designed for storing 50 thousand tons of wheat per year.

Here, wheat accepted from producers is processed in accordance with modern requirements, which allows maintaining its quality indicators at the proper level during storage in the elevator.

Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh had a conversation with the head of the Department of Agricultural Technology of Agricultural Crops of the Agricultural Research and Production Center of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection G.Novruzov.

The scientist-agronomist informed Arkadag about the activities of the production complex. It produces 50,000 tons of flour per year that meets high environmental standards, which is packaged in 50-kilogram bags and delivered to consumers. Also, on the territory of the enterprise there is a warehouse for storing 2 thousand tons of wheat seeds.

Focusing on the need for regular implementation of modern best practices and scientific achievements in all areas of the agro-industrial complex of the country, the Hero-Arkadag spoke about the great importance of scientific works of breeders. As noted, the preparation of high-quality seeds is important in agriculture, therefore, special attention should be paid to the effective establishment of this activity and the training of highly qualified personnel in this sphere.

Having inquired about the characteristic features of wheat seeds, the Hero-Arkadag stressed that they should be adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of each region, and issues related to their yield, disease resistance and grain density should be constantly in the spotlight.

In recent years, efforts have been made to increase the desire of the younger generation for conscientious work, to increase love for their native land, therefore, these works should be continued, Arkadag stated.

Then the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the exhibition of various fruit, vegetable and melon products grown on the agricultural lands of the velayat, as well as produced at processing enterprises, organized on the territory of the production complex. There are also varieties of cotton and wheat seeds. The exposition reflects the achievements in the agricultural sector, clearly testifies to the provision of food abundance in the country.

Today, thanks to the diligent and conscientious work of daikhans who have devoted their lives to agriculture, domestic markets are fully supplied with food products grown on generous Turkmen land that meet international standards in quality, environmental friendliness and nutritional value.

Rendering the necessary state support to rural workers to obtain generous harvests, purchasing powerful modern equipment and aggregates for daikhans, providing tenants with mineral fertilizers, high-quality seeds and chemicals to combat pests of agricultural crops, as well as timely settlements with commodity producers increase the efficiency of the work performed.

Then Arkadag headed to the warehouse, where the modern production infrastructure works smoothly. After examining the volumes of flour stored here, the Hero-Arkadag said that it is a source of wealth and abundance of our people. The grain grown by the diligence of daihans should be appreciated. All this is especially important for strengthening the country’s food security.

Noting that among the national values created by our glorious ancestors throughout the centuries-old history, a significant place is given to the conscientious and selfless work of farmers, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh focused on the need to continue these principles, to educate the younger generation on them. The large-scale work carried out in the country, and the successes achieved are reflected in the daily life of the people.

Then the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting here with the participation of the leaders of the country’s political parties and the khyakim of Mary velayat to discuss issues related to the socio-economic development of the velayats, the proper conduct of agricultural work and the introduction of the achievements of modern science into production.

Arkadag’s visit to daikhans on the eve of the Harvest Festival, which is of great importance in the life of the country and the people, especially for the rural workers, inspires confidence that it will bring success in noble deeds.

Currently, advanced methods of irrigation and soil fertilization, including the latest technologies, are actively used in the agricultural fields of our country.
