The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, sent deep condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, in connection with the terrorist act that took place in the Shah Cherag mausoleum in the city of Shiraz, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.

«Turkmenistan resolutely opposes any manifestations of terrorism and extremism. Based on high humanistic ideals and universally recognized principles of peaceful coexistence of peoples, we remain committed to supporting the efforts of the world community in counteracting this evil», –noted in the message.

On behalf of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh, as well as on his own behalf, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan conveyed words of deep empathy and support at this difficult moment to the families and friends of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
