The next issue of the historical-documentary, scientific-methodical magazine «Türkmen arhiwi», published by the Main Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers, opens with a selection of official documents adopted in the country in 2020-2021. Among them are Decrees and Resolutions of the President of Turkmenistan, Resolutions of the Halk Maslakhaty and the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh.

The publication also features a traditional section, which provides a brief overview of the most significant social and political events over the past two years in chronological order. These are major forums, international conferences, consultative meetings, solemn opening ceremonies of important industrial and social facilities.

As noted in the materials, the main goal of the progressive transformations and reforms carried out in the modern epoch is to ensure the prosperous life of the people, the formation of a reliable basis for the prosperity of the Motherland with a long-term perspective.

A series of thematic publications is devoted to the implementation of one of the key tasks of the state archival service - the provision of methodological assistance to office and archival structures of ministries, institutions, enterprises and organizations in matters of proper organization of document flow.

As a result of the fundamental transformations carried out in the country, the composition and content of traditional paper-based documentation is changing, with the introduction of computer technology, new forms of office work are being developed more and more widely.

The readers are presented with the Rules and Regulations for the formation, accounting, storage and use of documents, as well as one of the sections of the List of standard documents indicating the terms of their storage related to economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.

Turkmenistan pays great attention to the study and dissemination of information about national material and spiritual values, which serve as a symbol of the inseparable connection between generations. Based on this, among the main areas of work of the Main Archive Department and its subordinate institutions, in whose funds the documentary sources of the NAFT are concentrated, a set of measures to popularize the unique heritage of the Turkmen people in the world has been determined.
