Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received chairman of Cifal Gilles Remy.

Having sincerely congratulated the head of the state with Day of Independence of Turkmenistan, the businessman conveyed his wishes of happiness and wellbeing to Turkmen people. As Giles Remy noted, it was a great pleasure for him to be in Ashgabat in these festive days. At that, it was underlined that the constructive policy pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov evoked a great interest of business circles of France and Europe in general, in cooperation with our country on a long-term basis.

Having greeted the guest and having thanked him for congratulations, the head of the state said that Turkmenistan is always open for efficient business interaction, first of all, with largest world companies among, which is Cifal.

At that, the head of the state with satisfaction stated that French company Cifal is one of the leaders in international construction market and in the course of many years, it has been taking an active part in implementation of the city planning program of our country. In this connection, it was pointed out that in recent years, positive experience of partnership and mutual trust in implementation of large-scale projects was gained.

During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and his guest exchanged views of the future of interaction in the light of complex transformation programs developed in different sectors of economy, where special attention is attached to diversification of the industrial sector and modernization of its structure on the basis of introduction of high technologies and attraction of advanced foreign practice in architecture and construction. The fuel and energy complex and communications were also mentioned as important areas.

Having confirmed his intention to cooperate in realization of large infrastructure projects of national and regional significance, the head of the state underlined that Turkmenistan is ready to consider concrete proposals to this end.

Having marked the interest of Cifal in participation in implementation of new joint projects, Gilles Remy assured that his company will further strictly fulfil its partnership obligations laid upon it.

At the end of the meeting, having expressed his sincere acknowledgement for the given time and trust, the chairman of Cifal wished the President of Turkmenistan sound health and new great successes in his large-scale activity for the benefit of his country and people.
