Solemn ceremonies of presenting state awards and badges of honorary titles to the best workers of various sectors of the national economy, production leaders, employees of ministries and departments, their structural organizations, creative workers, labor veterans who have made a great personal contribution to the socio-economic development of the sovereign Turkmenistan, increasing its international prestige.

According to the Decrees of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the independence of the Motherland, for special services to the state and people, the preservation and enrichment of national traditions and customs, many years of conscientious and impeccable work, high professional skills, a number of citizens of Turkmenistan were awarded the orders “Altyn asyr”, “Garaşsyz Türkmenistana bolan beýik söýgüsi üçin”, medals “Gaýrat”, “Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin”.

Honoring them is another vivid confirmation of the special respect with which our country treats professionals, masters of their craft, who give all their experience, knowledge and talent to selfless service to the Motherland. It is these people - purposeful, gifted, exemplary in their duties, striving to benefit the Fatherland, who are an example for the younger generation.

The contribution of women, awarded the Order “Zenan kalby”, and representatives of the older generation, who were awarded the honorary title “Hormatly il ýaşulusy” of Turkmenistan, were especially noted for fruitful social activities that contribute to strengthening the unity and cohesion of the people, training and educating young people in the spirit of respect for national values, historical heritage, patriotism, diligence, courage and heroism.

On behalf of the Head of State, the Chairman of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers took part in the celebrations, who warmly congratulated the audience on the great holiday - Independence Day, wishing them happiness, prosperity, new achievements and creative success in the name of the prosperity of their beloved Motherland.

Today, the capital also hosted an award ceremony for creative workers awarded honorary titles of Turkmenistan and winners of the competition of the President of Turkmenistan “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” among literary, cultural and art workers, young performers and gifted children.

Honoring the cultural figures noted at the state level is held annually on the eve of the main holiday of the country - Independence Day, which emphasizes the importance of the contribution of creative workers to the progressive progress of our sovereign neutral state and gives the celebration a special emotional mood.
