Presentation of the book of Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “The Meaning of My Life”, published in Russian, took place today in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This event became a fact of the deepest respect for Arkadag, recognition of his great merits in the multifaceted state, political, scientific and cultural activities.

The ceremony was attended by the head and employees of the Foreign Ministry, heads of diplomatic missions and missions accredited in our country, international organizations, faculty and students of the capital's universities, and the media.

The work of the Hero-Arkadag, published in the year named “The Epoch of the People with Arkadag”, became a spiritual help for the people of Turkmenistan on the way to achieving lofty goals for the next 30 years of the Renaissance of the new era of a powerful state.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan A. Blokhin noted that interaction in the humanitarian sphere is an integral part of bilateral partnership as an important factor in strengthening the bonds of friendship, mutual understanding and respect between countries and peoples, creating an optimal climate for full-fledged cooperation meeting the goals of general well-being and prosperity.

In the speech of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, head of the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, Natalia German, it was noted that the book talks not only about the heritage, but also about the modern achievements of Turkmenistan. The new edition provides an opportunity to better understand the underlying motives that guide Turkmenistan in its activities on the world stage, as well as the role, goals and objectives of the country in the global coordinate system.

The participants of the presentation were unanimous in their opinion that the work of Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov allows to become more familiar with the history of the Turkmen people, its national and cultural identity, traditions, customs and life principles, to deeply realize the significance of the contribution of Turkmen to the world scientific, economic and cultural progress.

As noted during the presentation, the philosophical views of Arkadag are also revealed through deep gratitude and love for parents, commitment to family values. These views have largely become a moral and ethical compass in the life of Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The publication of the new edition is a significant event in the history of good-neighborly Turkmen-Russian relations that are growing year by year, recognition of the significant contribution of the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the development of interstate cooperation in the modern era.
