Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the Central Asian States and the Russian Federation, and in the plenary session of the Women’s Dialogue.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the current state and priorities of further fruitful cooperation, which has great prospects, taking into account the existing interest, supported by an impressive potential and vast experience of many years of joint work in carrying out a number of large-scale projects.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed confidence that the fulfillment of the existing wide-ranging cooperation potential would contribute to further strengthening the relations of friendship and effective partnership between the two countries for common prosperity and progress.
