The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the Governor General of Canada

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on behalf of the people and Government of Türkmenistan and on his own behalf sent his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Governor General of Canada Ms Mary May Simon and all people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Canada.

The relations between our countries are based upon mutual respect, equity, and mutual trust, the head of the state noted in his message, underlining that Turkmenistan is interested in expansion of bilateral relations. It was also expressed confidence that thanks to joint efforts cooperation between our countries will further develop in the interest of both peoples.

Availing of the pleasant opportunity, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed Governor General Ms Mary May Simon his sincere wishes of sound health, happiness and wellbeing and people of Canada – progress and development.
