The total amount of transactions at the SCRMET trading amounted to 62 million 199 thousand US dollars

Last week, 52 transactions were registered at the bargains of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

For foreign currency, businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, China, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Afghanistan purchased base oil, low-sulfur fuel oil, calcined and total petroleum coke, polypropylene, technical kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Entrepreneurs from Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery.

In addition, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, as well as licorice roots and rhizomes, which were purchased by representatives of business circles from Scotland and Kyrgyzstan, were sold for foreign currency. The total amount of transactions amounted to 62 million 199 thousand US dollars.

For the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene (produced by the Turkmen Oil Refinery), high-density polyethylene (SC «Türkmenhimiýa»), as well as handmade carpets for a total amount of more than 15 million 602 thousand manats.
