A few days remain before the moment when the citizens of Turkmenistan, using their constitutional right to freedom of expression, will come to the polls to cast their votes for one of the nine candidates running for the post of head of state. The fate of the Fatherland, its present and future largely depends on what this choice will be.

Today, in the meeting hall of the hyakimlik of the Mary velayat, a meeting of voters with a candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan - Deputy Hyakim of the Mary velayat Agadzhan Bekmyradov, whose candidacy was nominated by the Agrarian Party of the country, took place.

Opening the meeting, the chairman of the Mary velayat committee of the Agrarian Party S. Suleymanov gave the floor to the candidate's confidant - the deputy chairman of the Mary velayat branch of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens T. Byashimov, who acquainted the audience with the work biography of A. Bekmyradov, a civil engineer, describing him as a young initiative and skillful leader with sufficient experience in public organizations and local executive authorities.

It was emphasized that the residents of the Mary velayat, where A. Bekmyradov works, are well aware of his organizational skills. Then the floor was given to A. Bekmyradov, who acquainted the audience in detail with his election program.

He stressed that he intends to continue the course aimed at implementing grandiose socio-economic, cultural and political programs, strengthening democracy and the legal foundations of the state, educating the younger generation, and reviving the spiritual and moral values of the Turkmen people. Particular attention is paid to the social aspects of state policy, the development of science, education, healthcare, culture, tourism, mass physical culture and health movement and sports, large-scale socio-economic programs implemented in the country that improve the social and living conditions of not only urban citizens, but also residents of villages.

Continuing the conversation about the prospects for socio-economic development, A. Bekmyradov said that one of the priorities of his election program is the socio-economic development of the regions and, in particular, the Mary velayat. The candidate emphasized that he intends to systematically and consistently pursue a course towards the implementation of grandiose projects in the economic, transport and communication spheres. Focusing on the issues of intensifying the industrial development of the velayats, improving the social and living conditions of their population, A. Bekmyradov assured that he would make every effort to solve these important tasks.

Then A. Bekmyradov answered voters' questions, which allowed him to specify the provisions of his election program.

In the afternoon, the voters of the Mary region met with the director of the Economic Society "Wepaly gurluşyk" Babamyrat Meredov, nominated as a candidate for the President of Turkmenistan by the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country.

The confidant of the candidate, the director of the individual enterprise “Eşretli kenar” B. Berdimyradov, acquainted the audience with the candidate's work biography, describing him as a worthy person, a conscientious and competent specialist, with good organizational skills, an active life and civil position.

In turn, the candidate for the highest state post, outlining his election program, paid special attention to large-scale socio-economic programs that improve the social and living conditions of citizens and rural residents.

B. Meredov assured that, along with the continuation of work to strengthen the legal status and democratic foundations of the state, he intends to implement long-term, comprehensive tasks for the development and transformation of various industries.

In continuation of the meeting, B. Meredov answered the questions of those present, specifying the provisions of his election platform, in particular, those relating to support for the agro-industrial complex.

B. Meredov expressed his firm confidence that the voters would give their votes to the applicant who would properly continue to work for the sake of the further prosperity of our Motherland.

Two meetings were held today in the Balkan velayat, in the cultural and sports center of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

In the morning, voters met with the head physician of the Avaza sanatorium of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of the country, deputy of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Berdymammet Gurbanov, nominated as a candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan by an initiative group of citizens of the Balkan velayat.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council of the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly of Turkmenbashi etrap A. Nazarov. He gave the floor to the confidant of the candidate, the chairman of the Balkan Velayat Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization G. Chendirov, who acquainted the audience in detail with the biography of B. Gurbanov, describing his worthy human, business and professional qualities. Having told the meeting participants about the candidate's career path, he especially noted that B. Gurbanov showed organizational talent and high professionalism in all areas of work entrusted to him.

Then the floor was given to the candidate for the post of President of the country, who outlined in detail the main points of his election program. In his speech, he emphasized that he intends to continue the ongoing large-scale work to implement the colossal natural and economic potential of the country, socio-economic programs, strengthen democracy and the legal foundations of the state, educate the younger generation, and preserve the spiritual and moral values of the Turkmen people. In particular, to expand and deepen reforms in the field of social security, transport and communications, in the field of building factories and factories, production facilities, healthcare institutions, and improving the material and technical base of the agro-industrial complex.

As the candidate noted, the successful implementation of such tasks as improving the sectoral structure of agricultural production, increasing the volume of food production, increasing crop yields and livestock productivity, ensuring environmentally friendly conditions for growing agricultural products and food production is required to ensure the prosperity of the country in the third millennium.

The citizens who spoke at the meeting expressed their orders and wishes to the candidate.

In the afternoon, there was also a meeting of voters with another candidate for the President of Turkmenistan - the chairman of the committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan of the etrap named after. Saparmurat Turkmenbashi of the Dashoguz velayat Maksat Odeshov, nominated by an initiative group of citizens of the northern region of the country.

The chairman of the Committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan of the Turkmenbashi etrap of the Balkan velayat T. Gurbanov gave the floor to the confidant of the candidate-chairman of the union of trade unions of the Gurbansoltan eje etrap of the Dashoguz velayat A. Amangeldiyev, who acquainted the audience with the work biography of the candidate for the highest state post, describing him as an enterprising, competent leader , a principled and conscientious person who enjoys authority and respect among the population.

Then, presenting his electoral program to the voters, Maksat Odeshov assured them that he would continue the course, thanks to which Turkmenistan, putting the interests of the people at the forefront, reached unprecedented heights in economic development. Among the priority areas of his activity, if elected President, the applicant for this post named further improvement of the well-being of all segments of the population, the development of science and education, the education of young people in the spirit of love for the Motherland, their people.

In the field of international relations, the candidate said, he intends to ensure the continuity of the policy of neutrality, based on the principles of peace, good neighborliness, mutually beneficial cooperation, which has earned our state high international prestige.

Speaking about the measures for the steady and progressive economic development of the country, M. Odeshov noted that he would contribute in every possible way to further implementation of national programs to improve industrial and transport infrastructure based on modern technologies. Outlining his vision of the future of other areas, the presidential candidate assured that priority will be given to the diversification of export supplies of Turkmen gas, the development of the textile industry, the communications system, the construction of social facilities, the creation of new jobs, and the dynamic improvement of the welfare of the Turkmen people.

Concluding the meeting, Maksat Odeshov assured the voters that in order to further develop national democracy, social cohesion, in the name of preserving the cultural heritage, the prosperous life of our people, relying on spiritual values, he would make every effort to implement all the plans.
