Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held a regular online working meeting in which khyakims of regions and Ashgabat city took part.

The issues it considered included socio-economic development of the capital and regions, preparation for the spring sowing campaign and seasonal activities in the fields as well as the lambing campaign. 

The head of the state first gave floor to khyakim of Akhal region Ya. Gurbanov by direct video communication, who was then in the wheat fields of farm association named after Magtymguly of Ak bugday district of Akhal region. The head of the administration of the region reported that now application of mineral fertilizers, third irrigation and dusting with agents against pests are carried out in the fields. 

Fields to be sown under cotton are ready, ploughing and levelling activities are going on in the region. The machinery and equipment, which will be operated in the sowing campaign, have been repaired and ready for exploitation. Necessary measures are taken for supplying cotton growers with seeds. 

At the same time, care after potato and onion plantations are ensured properly and it is expected to obtain a good harvest from these crops.

Having heard the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined importance of the care of high quality and in accordance with agro-technical standards after wheat fields and timely additional fertilization and irrigation of crops. At the same time, one should prepare the fields and cotton seeds for sowing, the head of Turkmenistan noted, giving him a number of instructions.

Further, during the conversation the leader of the nation pointed out that the united population of the region makes a weighty contribution to the strengthening of food abundance and expressed his thanks to them for it.

Khyakim of Balkan region T.Atahallyev, who joined the meeting online from farm association of «Goç» in Serdar district, reported that ploughing of fields to be sown with tomato and carrot is carried out. Before the start of ploughing phosphate fertilizers were applied and upon completion of sowing urea will be applied.

The President of Turkmenistan got interested in the state of ploughed fields. The khyakim taking a handful of earth into his hands said that its moisture and other necessary features meet the required standards.

The head of the region also informed that the sowing of onion, potato and other vegetables is carried out in accordance with the plan and with a view of obtaining a rich harvest, the care after wheat fields as well as their additional fertilization and irrigation are carried out properly.

Having heard the report, leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov commissioned him to timely complete ploughing and levelling of the fields to be sown under agricultural crops and to select proper seeds.  One should attach a great significance for supplying the sowing campaign with necessary machinery and equipment, which should be in a good running condition. And the main thing is timely implementation of all planned measures.

The khyakim also reported on the activities developed in the region today and they are carried out strictly in accordance with established standards and terms of agricultural technology. With a view of obtaining a rich harvest and ensuring food abundance, at present, the first additional fertilization and irrigation of wheat fields are carried out.

The President of the country also got interested in the measures taken for solution of tasks outlined in the National agricultural program and the Program for socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025.

With the blessing of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the khyakim opened the shutter and let the washing water run into the fields.

Besides it, the khyakim reported on preparation of the fields in the region for cotton sowing, repair of machinery and equipment, which will be used in the campaign as well as the measures taken to supply agriculturists with seeds. With a view of obtaining a rich harvest of potato and onion, proper work is carried out in the region.

The head of the administration of the region also reported on preparation of the fields for sowing under spring cotton, measures taken for their ploughing and levelling, repair of machinery and equipment as well as supply of agriculturists with seeds and care after wheat fields and their vegetation irrigation.

Necessary measures are carried out to take care after crops in the region to obtain a rich harvest of potato, onion and other vegetables.

The khyakim informed that at present, streets of the capital are accomplished and parks and squares are arranged, green zones where trees and flowerbeds are placed, are cleaned from weeds. Besides it, seasonal flowers are planted and pruning of trees are carried out. All these measures bear a mass character.

In his report, the khyakim displayed the head of the state varieties of flowers grown on subsidiary farms, which feel well in the soil-climatic conditions of our country. Now seasonal saplings are planted.

Having heard the report, the leader of the nation got interested in how well these flowers are stable and said that they add a special charm to our capital and please the eyes.

It is especially important on the eve of upcoming International Women’s Day and national spring holiday, the head of the state said. Having drawn the attention to the fact that namely these days one should take a complex approach to these activities, the leader of the nation gave him concrete instructions.

Having underlined that large-scale transformations developed in Ashgabat, aimed at attaching a regular character to the all-round development of Turkmenistan are designated for a long-term, President of the country marked that all the work on systematic modernization of urban economy, public services and introduction of a digital system in their activities should be always kept under a strict control.

The head of the state pointed out importance of exploration of advanced world practice with a view of its application in the given sphere, development of construction projects and accomplishment plans including decoration and environmental safety.

The best national traditions of architecture and modern solutions should be used in the development of architectural look of Ashgabat and the Turkmen capital, taking into account its high status, in all regards, should serve a model. All this should be taken into account in creation of the best favourable living conditions for people, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
