Pre-election meetings with voters of candidates for the President of Turkmenistan are continuing in Turkmenistan. By visiting each velayat of the country, candidates, in accordance with the Electoral Code, use the equal rights and opportunities granted to them for freedom of campaigning, speaking at meetings with the electorate and in the media, which is a clear evidence of the triumph of the principles of democracy.

A meeting of voters with the candidate for President of Turkmenistan from the Democratic Party of the country – Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Serdar Berdimuhamedov took place today at the House of Culture of Anau city of the Ak Bugdai etrap of the Ahal velayat. The event was attended by representatives of labor collectives, public organizations, honorary elders and youth.

Opening the meeting, the Chairman of the Ahal velayat of DPT Committee R.Ishangulyev gave the floor to the candidate’s proxy – the head of the Geokdepe etrap of DPT Committee N.Khojayeva, who familiarized with the work biography of the applicant for the highest state position. Noting the personal and business qualities of the candidate, the representative described Serdar Berdimuhamedov as a worthy representative of the younger generation of Turkmen citizens, conscientious and competent, highly qualified specialist with good organizational skills and a broad outlook. While working as a manager in various structures, the candidate for the head of Turkmenistan demonstrated high professionalism, innovation, responsibility for the assigned task, initiative.

Then the candidate for the country’s President himself addressed the voters. Outlining the main aspects of his election program, Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that if he is elected head of state, he will steadily continue a socially oriented policy, selflessly serve the Motherland and the Turkmen people, taking into account the priorities defined in the program document – “The revival of a new era of a powerful state: National Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022 – 2052”, which was approved by the Decree of the national leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh held on February 11.

The priority direction of the state policy will remain the construction of residential buildings, massifs and villages, the laying of new and reconstruction of existing roads, gas pipelines, electric networks, communication lines, the construction of bridges, industrial and social facilities, the creation of new jobs.

Answering the questions of voters, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Serdar Berdimuhamedov touched upon the topic of public health protection, including further improvement of the domestic healthcare system and the medical industry, taking into account the tasks defined in the Saglyk State Program and other specialized programs, as well as improving the quality of medical services rendered to Turkmen citizens.

At the end of the meeting, the candidate for the highest state position – Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked the audience for their attention and assured that he would put all his strength, energy and experience to the prosperity of an independent neutral Motherland for the welfare and happiness of the Turkmen people.

This morning, a meeting of voters with the director of the financial and economic secondary vocational school of the Lebap velayat, Perhat Begenjov, whose candidacy for the President of Turkmenistan was put forward by an initiative group of citizens, took place in the meeting room of the khyakimlik of the Dashoguz velayat.

Opening the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Dashoguz velayat Association of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan A.Taganov gave the floor to the candidate’s proxy – the director of secondary school#28 of Turkmenabat Ya.Yagmurov. Having familiarized the audience with the candidate’s work biography, he described him as an energetic, highly qualified, competent and demanding leader with good organizational skills and sufficient experience in teaching.

The candidate for the highest state post, who spoke next, familiarized voters with the main provisions of his election program.

The large-scale transformations envisaged in state programs, including the recently adopted National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052, will continue. Full support will be provided by the state to private entrepreneurship. Social policy will continue to be aimed at ensuring a high level of well-being of the population.

Answering the questions asked by voters concerning his vision of further improvement of the scientific and educational system, training of highly qualified young specialists, development of the healthcare sector, environmental protection and ensuring environmental well-being, Perhat Begenjov assured that if he is elected to the highest state post, he will use all his knowledge, skills and experience for the benefit of his beloved Motherland and people.

In the afternoon, a meeting of voters with the candidate for the President of Turkmenistan, Director of the “Renewable Energy Sources” Center Research and Production of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan Kakageldi Saryev, nominated by an initiative group of citizens, took place here.

The meeting was opened by the leading specialist of the Dashoguz velayat Association of Trade Unions K.Jollyev, who gave the floor to the proxy of the applicant for the highest state position – the acting head of the Department of Economics of the Energy Industry of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan D.Agajanov.

Further, the candidate for the President of Turkmenistan outlined the main directions of his election program, highlighting that the most important priority of state policy will continue to be taking care of people, improving the welfare of the population.

Noting the great successes achieved by the country in strengthening statehood, economic development, improving the social standard of living of citizens, K.Saryev said that in the future practical steps will be taken to maintain high growth rates of key sectors of the national economic complex, the successful implementation of the “Revival of a new era of a powerful state: The National Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052”.

Touching upon the development of the fuel and energy complex, the candidate for the highest state post underlined that Turkmenistan, which has enormous reserves of hydrocarbon raw materials, will continue to strive to put its significant resource potential at the service of all mankind, implementing a policy based on the principles of comprehensive modernization of the fuel and energy complex and diversification of energy supply routes to world markets. In the future, renewable energy sources will also be widely used in the country.

Due attention, said K.Saryev, will be paid to the modernization of agriculture, support for small and medium-sized businesses, ensuring food abundance and environmental well-being. Among the priorities were the training of a comprehensively educated, highly intelligent young generation and highly qualified specialists for various sectors of the national economy, the development of science and other areas.

Answering the questions of the audience, the candidate for the President of Turkmenistan noted that within the framework of the program of reform of the agro-industrial complex currently being implemented in the country, conditions for fruitful work of farmers will be created. At the same time, it was emphasized that work will continue on the further development of the national culture and popularization of the priceless heritage of the Turkmen people. The active introduction of digital technologies and international best practices into all spheres were named among the relevant areas.

A meeting of voters with the Vice-rector for Scientific Work of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Khydyr Nunnaev, nominated for the post of President of Turkmenistan by the initiative group, took place today in the conference hall of the khyakimlik of the Lebap Velayat.

The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Turkmenabat City Association of Trade Unions J.Jumaev. Then the floor was given to the candidate’s proxy – the acting head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports Ch.Sylapov, who acquainted the electorate with the labor biography of the applicant for the highest state post, his personal and business qualities.

The candidate was described as an exceptionally responsible, hardworking, sympathetic person with an active life and civic position, having extensive teaching experience and paying special attention to educating young people in the spirit of honoring the precepts and traditions of their ancestors.

Then the candidate for the President of Turkmenistan himself addressed the voters of the eastern region. The meeting was opened by the teacher of the Turkmen language and literature of secondary school#4 of the city of Turkmenabat, M.Tangrygulyev, who gave the floor to the candidate’s proxy – Chairman of the Ahal velayat Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly M.Orazberdiyev.

The participants were acquainted with the work biography of Maksatmyrat Ovezgeldiyev. His high professional and positive personal qualities, his desire to serve the interests of the Motherland and his people were particularly noted.

Then the candidate for the head of state himself addressed the voters. Outlining the main theses of his election program, the candidate noted that today sovereign Turkmenistan is among the most dynamically developing countries of the planet, and therefore the most important task is the further comprehensive development of all sectors of the national economy on an innovative basis, the active introduction of advanced world experience and modern technologies, as well as the establishment of mutually beneficial international cooperation.

Much attention will be paid to the further implementation of the large-scale transformations initiated by the leader of the nation, aimed at the prosperity of the state, ensuring the happiness and well-being of the native people. The National Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052, adopted on February 11 this year, will serve as the basis for them.

The undisputed priority of domestic policy, which has a pronounced social orientation, will remain the steady improvement of the welfare of the population.

In this context, a special place in the program is given to the formation of favorable conditions for a full life, work and recreation of citizens – the construction of social facilities, primarily residential buildings, schools and kindergartens, the protection of citizens’ health, the creation of an effective health system, improved through the active introduction of advanced achievements of modern medical science and innovative technologies, ensuring environmental well-being.
