Last week, 89 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan purchased liquefied gas, base oil, gasoline and paraffin gas produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Representatives of business circles from the UAE and Afghanistan also purchased liquefied gas produced by the State Concerns «Türkmengaz» («Turkmengas») and «Türkmenhimiýa» («Turkmenchemistry»).

Besides, cotton yarn was sold for foreign currency. Purchasing countries: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 56 million 447 thousand US dollars.

Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and Afghanistan purchased for manats handmade carpets, cotton yarn, a thick extract of licorice root for a total amount of over 16,42,000 manats.

Domestic businessmen purchased high-density polyethylene (GK «Türkmenhimiýa») and handmade carpets for the total amount of more than 13,989,000 manats for the domestic market.
